“Prague Marriott Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

Best feature is the central location of this hotel. Lots of good restaurants within easy walking distance. Enjoyed the Imperial Café in the Imperial Hotel which is a 3 minute walk from the Prague Marriott. As you come out of the hotel turn right for a half block then left for one block and diagonally across the street is the restaurant. Neat tiled ceilings and excellent service on white linen table cloths. Dinner with wine was about $45. Would strongly recommend. Also would suggest the V Prince across from the astronomical clock. They have a rooftop restaurant with heaters and great views.

Solid quality for quite reasonable money. There is not much to say about the rooms or service due to the fact that it is similar to the level of other Marriott hotels I have visited. This one was not a disappointment. First small disadvantage is very expensive access to the internet so I had to go to foyer to send some emails to my family or friends (I didn't need the internet for much more than this). The hotel is located in perfect place of downtown, but if you will take regular bus connection from the airport, it may be an issue. People around are friendly so you can find hotel direction superfast. Service of the hotel is very helpful and experienced. Common space is nice, but problem starts with the lifts reacting with delay for any button manipulations. The food in the hotel is solid but much more expensive than in restaurants around. I went also to the hotel’s "spa zone". My impressions?: don’t expect anything special from very small swimming pool and "micro" whirlpool bath. The pool is 6 meters long, and in whirlpool you can touch the feet of all 4 persons it can take on-board ;P. Instead of “relax zone” I found “stress zone” with my legs being strongly angled (I’m typical 1,8 m high). Taking into account all "pro" and "contra" issues (including price) - the result is good. Small tips: don't go for breakfast, but rather enjoy it in the local restaurants. Don’t eat in the main square. The food is produced “for the tourists” what means than you have to struggle with tasteless and expensive “international cuisine”. Make the effort and explore the restaurants out of main square circle.

It is always a pleasure to stay at a well managed property. From the moment I checked in, late on a cold Sunday night, I was made welcome.
This was my first stay at this property, previously I had stayed out near the airport. The taxi ride will cost you in the region of $35.00, but it is definitely worth it to stay at an excellent hotel in a beautiful city.
I stayed on the executive floor, the room as well appointed, not large, but an adequate size, warm and welcoming.
The executive lounge is in the attic on two levels. Very well appointed and very well, run. The staff here really make you feel welcome.
The location is great, a short walk has you in the picturesque old city. The staff were well informed, friendly and efficient. I will definitely stay here next time I am in Prague.

Not a hotel review, we stayed at the intercontinental - but the Grill Room restaurant is a Prague legend for Sunday brunch - service starts at 12.00 and booking advised. Great food - eat as much as you like in whatever order you like! The carvery is brilliant but so are the salads and the sushi and the fish! Very very pleasant service and no stinting on the wine which is included in the price - just give a wave and some impossibly good looking young person will refill your glass! Manager obviously on top of things - running a tight ship and looking after his regulars as well as tourists equally well. Charming staff throughout. We were tipped off on this place as its not the sort of thing we would normally do. We would normally be lookign for something 'authentic' but this was really excellent. Its not a traditional brunch buffet - its not about waffles and eggs and bacon and stuff like that. More lunch really. I started with sushi, then had some smoked salmon, then great rib of beef, a small sliver of cheese and then creme brulee. My wife had similar but went for the waver thin rare roast beef and salads as her main. See what I mean! Champagne, white wine, red wine and coffee were the drinks of choice.

Brilliant - can't wait to go again!

You will not need to eat again for the rest of the day! Go and walk it off afterwards! Fantastic value for money for about £25

Very nice hotel ..
Location is excellent .. only a few minutes walk from the Gun Powder Tower and thereof to the city centre.
Rooms are large and large beds and bathroom. Very clean. Very helpful staff. Free Wifi in lobby and free business centre.
Breakfast is excellent in choice and quality. Did not try dinner as menu seemed limited and food outside is plenty and excellent (plus very cheap)
Nice but small swimming pool ..
Would recommend.

Room Tip: Twin bedrooms have two double beds and are more value
