“beautiful boutique hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Marvelous boutique hotel. A littele away from very downtown, but just a nice walk to Wenceslas Square or 5 minutes taxi. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious and nice. Just some problems with wi-fi.

Nice hotel, nice service, huge rooms. Location not bad. Good options for lunch and dinner nearby. Cleanness according to expectations. The only point to improve is the price for long term stays, wedid not get a hot deal.

This is a luxurious hotel tucked away in a romantic part of the city. The rooms are delightful and the bathroom an extravagance. The turn down service makes you feel special. We had the spa to ourselves and felt like millionaires. The walk to town is quick and easy and you can take in the local bars on the way home. The local area has plenty of places to eat and drink, at a good price for those on a budget. The city is small and easy to get around, we didn't use the public transport. Check out the Czech Kitchen next to the market in town, well worth the experience, you won't be disappointed. Sparta Prague Ice Hockey is great fun if you have never been to a game before. A fantastic break in a lovely hotel with staff that care. Thank you Le Palais...

Room Tip: Basic rooms are great.

Stayed in January and it was fantastic. We got a fantastic rate as well which made the stay even better.

The rooms are clean, bright and well maintained. The free minibar is a lovely treat and a nice cold drink at the end of a long day site seeing is great. The toiletries were also really nice and replenished every day.

Every member of staff we encountered was helpful, friendly and more than happy to help.

The spa was really nice and we had it pretty much to ourselves when we went. The staff in there were again really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed... Towels, slippers, robes. When we were leaving to go back to our room the member of staff checked to make sure we had enjoyed our experience.

The lobby bar was also fantastic and the waiters were again efficient, friendly and helpful. It was a nice relaxing place to have a couple of cocktails or some food.

At reception they were always helpful and even helped us decide where to go for dinner (Sapori - amazing!) nearby, and insisted on phoning and booking for us so that we had a good table (it's a good job she did as it was nearly full on a Thursday in January).

It was just a fantastic stay from start to finish. If I return to Prague I would love to stay here again.

Nice boutique hotel, have stayed a number of times, city centre is a 20/30 minute walk or tram ride away, hotel does offer a shuttle service to the city centre/old town but in the low season this only operates once a day

We stayed in Le Palais Almost 5 months ago with my family and it was a perfect stay ..the rooms are big and very nicely decorated ..big bathtubs and very luxurious in general.. Theyre bar works 24 hours so me and my sister who are younger could have a drink before going out at 1 am Tomas the bartender was specially nice with us and to my parents..We also had a free minibar service which we particularly enjoyed.
Then also worth mentioning the bell boy ondre he was extremely helpfull in recommendind us where to go out aswell as arranging our transports and activities in prague ..he did not only do his job but he would daily look after us asking how our nights where ...in general he made us feel like at home ..

we also had dinner at le papillon restaurant and it was wonderfull quality products and very profesional staff.

We will come back i really recommend it :)

We stayed for 4 nights in mid-January 2013. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the hotel to go home the staff were simply amazing! The hotel is located about a 20 minute walk from Wenceslas square and taxis cost between 200 krona and 100 krona which is about £3.30 - £6.60 which we thought was reasonable. When we arrived our cases were immediately taken inside to be taken to our room. We had a tour of the hotel and then were taken to the room by the lady who checked us in. We were asked if the room was satisfactory! It was a lovely room. The pillows were the softest I had experienced - I have a bad neck and take pillows very seriously!!! The bathroom had underfloor heating, a deep bath and L'Occitane toiletries. Other little things made the room special such as the free mini bar stocked daily, clean towels in the evening if needed, turn down service, beautiful white towels (not the usual grey when they've been washed hundreds of times), shoe cleaning service. Overall the hotel was stylish, spotlessly clean and well maintained - i even saw one lady cleaning the brass with a toothbrush!! Whilst there my husband was ill with a fever and they could not have been more caring and helpful. Thank you Milan for bringing extra water to our room (at no charge) and taking the time to ask him how he was later and the next day. Breakfast was buffet style with cooked items to order. The service was excellent and the staff made the effort to remember where you sat the day before, offer a paper and even remembered that I liked eggs benedict and english breakfast tea with cold milk! Thank you especially to Zuzana and Lukas. There were a number of staff identified as trainees and I would say they are learning the very best of customer service skills. Hotel prices for drinks and food were pretty much the norm for a 5 star hotel. Local drinks were cheaper than those imported. The hotel also has a free shuttle to Wenceslas square each day at 10 am - which needs to be booked by 9am - our "shuttle" turned out to be a mercedes C class. On the day we left our flight was late evening, our bags were stored securely and the receptionist organised our taxi at exactly the time we asked, from the firm we requested (we used an airport taxi which gave a 47% discount for the return journey). Overall we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone we know! We hope to go back soon!
