“The best hotel in Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2012

Great service all around. We arrived late and the check in was fast and the front desk manager was very friendly, after check in she show us the hotel and took us to our room. We got a corner room that was very nice and larger than normal for hotel rooms, you feel free with all the space. The room have all the amenities you do expect except that it does not have wi-fi or wired internet connection, you have to go to the lobby to get access, for me it was not a problem because we were in vacation, maybe a business traveler would consider this a no-no. Bed was very comfortable and so was the bathroom, I love the fact the you get floor heat in it. Room service was fast and tasty, I would like a few more items in the breakfast menu, but anyhow it was very good. It is located close to all the attractions, but as almost all other hotels you have to take the rail to go up to the castle. They say that you get what you pay for and in this case I think it was well worth it.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are the best.

We have returned from Prague after 5 nights staying in Le Palais . This is one of the best hotels i've ever stayed in .The service was great and they where all helpful in guiding you around Prague . Breakfast was amazing and the room and mini bar where great as well But thing that swung it for me was the way they fussed over my daughter there was fizzy fruit cocktail juice for her arriving and a present and a bar of chocolate every day for her and a gift for her leaving as well it really made her holiday and she was pleased as punch as well . i Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody without a second to think about it thank you all .

Stayed at this wonderful hotel for 2 nights with my family, upon arrival we received a free upgrade to a 'petite suite' at the 4th floor, it was connected to a second room for our 2 daughters. When placing my reservation they asked for the ages of our 2 daughters....we know why after we entered the suite + room.....they put special kids amenities and special 'kids' bed linen on the bed, wow!! They hotel is located in a quiet pedestrian/residential area, just 10 minutes walk from the city centre. The amazing thing is that they offer free transportation to the city 3 times per day, we did not use it but I think it is good mentioning it to future guests. in the bathroom they offer l'Occitane amenities, wonderful!! Breakfast is great and you can have breakfast until 12.00 hours during the weekend. Service is also TOP, the reception staff is very helpful with all sorts of issues. I can definitely recommend this beautiful luxury boutique hotel to a 100%!!!

One of the best hotels ever!!! The only thing I would like to say is that in the rooms there is no wi - fi access. The stuff extremely polite. Perfect rooms so clean and pretty and one terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast while gazing at an amazing view.

Prague was the last stop on our traveling through Eastern Europe. We had wonderful hotel experiences along the way and we were concerned about our last choice since it had been arranged through a newly tried website "Luxury Links". We had arranged for 4 nights, which came with many extras (Train/Airport transfers, breakfast, spa treatment etc.). The property had wonderful reviews in tripadvisor which helped finalize the decision. It more than lived up to our expectations. I had been communicating with the hotel prior to our arrival to arrange transfers and anyone I spoke to were exceptionally accommodating. We were greeted by the hotel car service and welcoming staff. Everything they promised and more, they provided. We were upgraded to a beautiful petite suite and the hotel amenities were everything we had hoped for in our stay in Prague. Even the beverages in the mini bar (wine, soda and water) were included in our stay for our room. It should be noted that they are not in walking distance to many of the areas of interest to visit. We did walk to the metro on our 1st day in Prague, but it wasn't our choice to walk again since the walk was a distance (min 10-15 mins) from hotel and after walking for an entire day it wasn't our preference to walk back to the hotel from the metro stop. They provide a shuttle to and from the Old Town, which we used on occasion. However, the schedule and need for reservations can be limiting. The dropoff and pickup point may not be convenient to what you are touring. You need to know that taxis can be arrranged and are very convenient, but ALWAYS find out the cost before getting into the cab. Even the reputable taxis take excursions to build up the fare. The average cost is $12-$15 Old Town and approx. $20 to go to the Prague Palace area. We knew this before making this choice for our hotel stay, but coming back to a quite location with a wonderful spa and beautiful room with all the amenities was worth it. The hotel dining room was very beautiful and inviting. There is a wonderful buffet as well as sit-down serviced breakfast. The Latte's were wonderful every morning. We had a wonderful dinner in their dining room on the last night, where we enjoyed excellent food and service. Another thing that I noticed was a wonderful terracedsitting area outside that I'm sure in warm weather is wonderful to enjoy. We loved our stay

Room Tip: We had a corner room #424 on the top floor that was an upgrade from the Executive Room. It was a sp...

Very nice experience. This is a jewel just 15 minute walk to Wenceslas Square.

The staff was helpful at all times and worked very hard to accommodate our needs. There was not a concierge available but the reception staff did an adequate job looking up information for us. The room was beautiful, function and clean. The dining was excellent. The service in the dining room was at times too attentive with many interruptions but friendly ones at least. The food was excellent but a bit pricey.

We initially planned on staying in the Old Town but we are glad we stayed with you. The access to the center was easy walking or with the tram. The noise level around the hotel was much less than we would have experienced closer to the river (we actually slept with the windows open most nights which is the first time we have done that in a city in years!)

Thank you for a nice experience during our first visit to Prague!

Room Tip: Ask for an upgrade to an executive room. The rooms on either side of the hotel are quiet.
