Was here on business in early Feb, however, managed to get in a few brief hours of R&R on the final day of the conference. Provided that one doesn't 1) Attempt to exchange currency (plenty of police signs warning against this...) or 2) Purchase a 'Prague Ham sandwich' (you get billed around £30 for a mountain of extraneous ham...) - it's a pleasant enough attraction, without being as expensive as one might expect for a 'Tourist Hotspot'.
I managed to spend around £15 for 2 courses with a couple of decent sized beers at one of the eateries on the edge of the square, which, tbh, was less than I might have expected to pay.
A good place to spend a couple of hours, looking at the (very varied) architecture, and soaking up the ambience.
