“tremendous value for money - especially given the location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2012

I tried staying in my usual out of town hotels, but these were quite pricey at this time of year. So thought I would take a chance with this one - and glad I did! The building is very nice, with a rather attractive stone staircase at its heart. The rooms, having just been refurbished, are very clean and in excellent condition. My room had a nice balcony. There is very pleasant outdoor area where people bring backs beers and sit and chat. Being just across from the station, the hotel is ineasy reach from the airport. Breakfast isn't included, but you can either pay 5 euros, or there are plenty of places within walking distance. All in all, for 35 euros a night, I will definitely be staying here again!

Room Tip: No toiletries are supplied, so bring these with you

Where would you stay for 22 euros a single room per night in Prague? This hotel.
It used to be a backpacker hostel and they have recently remodelled it to add one or two star ratings. The room is simple and clean, a bed, a wardrobe, a desk, and a small LCD TV. That's it, and the shower and toilet. All functional. Breakfast is extra 5 euros per day, basic stuff, nothing fancy. My room faces the courtyard and I can feel the room shaking whenever a tram goes past.
This can be a negative but it's really close to public transport, including the trains, just 3 min walk to the central train station. Will stay again.

The position is good, cause its a 2 Minutes walk to the main train station Hlavni Nadrazi, which has also a metro station if you wanna make day trips to other places like Dresden, Cesky Krumlov, Karlovy vary...
Its a little bit on the edge of the old city, but still there. A tram station is a minute walk.
Rooms are spacious, clean but basic. Perfect if you want it for a shower and for sleep. There is no phone in the room. Breakfast was at extra cost 5 Euros per person. Actually more like a good hostel than a hotel but good value for money. Would stay again.
