We stayed in this hotel for one night earlier this week. From the moment you step into reception it's pretty clear that this is something really different to your normal hotel. The girl who checked us in was really nice and funny. When we got to the room we were blown away by the cool decor, Apple TV, lovely view and the awesome cartoon art above the bed. There was a bit of a noise from the ventilation pipe above the bed but we thought we'd either get used to it or it'd be turned off late at night.
We went to the bar which is great fun - it wasn't spinning at first but did later on. Really great cocktails! When we got back to the room the noise was still there and at 4am it was unbearable so we stuffed a towel into the end of the pipe to shut it up. It's such a shame because everything else was great - fast free wifi, nice toiletries, really clean, super-friendly staff, fantastic location, comfy beds. I haven't seen any other reviews saying they had an issue with noise so maybe it was just our room (think it was 517).
Breakfast was ok, pretty standard but great that it was included for such a reasonable price. Just one more suggestion, it would be good to have a mirror in the bedroom area as the bathroom is too dark for putting on makeup.
