“Great location for great beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

Prague has no shortage of beer and breweries, but of the few we visited, I think this had the best beer. It had an interesting mix of beer styles, and their pale and dark beers were simply tastier than elsewhere. The Strahov monastery has plenty of sights to see, and the location close to the castle and the sights of Petrin Hill makes the brewery a great place to quench your thirst while sightseeing.

“Great Home Brewed Beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2013

A grea tmicrobrewert with 4 home brewed beers, the dark being the one I enjoy the most. Have had both snacks and meals and would recommend both (a must is their beer cheese - the best in Prague). If you happened to visit the Strahov monastery, leave time topop in to the brewery, you will not be disappointed. Menus in English as well as English speaking and friendly staff.

“Great Beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Great little microbrew type restaurant. Definitely give them a try. I first went here with a friend when we were wandering from Petrin Hill. The service was average. We had a great seat outside in the little courtyard. The second time I went was when my study abroad program had them cater a lunch for all of us, I was equally as impressed then as I was the first time.

Definitely check it out and then go walk around Petrin Hill and enjoy the scenery!

“Monastic Time Out”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

We didn't eat here but did sit outside under the heaters and blankets with one of their brewed specialties. The restaurant did seem atmospheric (long wooden benches) even if the waitress was rather snappy with us (we didn't know if we could just have a drink there - we settled for outside after that). Nice settings: the surrounding buildings are a chapel, a library and another restaurant. Was a nice place to stop off while on the tourist trail.

“Great beer”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 27, 2013

Variety of great beer is served here. Food is your typical czech, but nice. Everybody seemed to order meat soups served in carved breads that day, which looked fun.
