“Great value and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2012

The place is clean and rustic with a charming character. The kitchen facilities are fully equipped and allow you to cook if you are on a tighter budget. Location is great as it's just a minute's walk to Charles Bridge and a few more to other places like the Old Town, the Palace or up to Petrin Hill (to the cable car station).

The best of all are the people managing the place (Tourist Info). The information they provide is top notch, They are generous and truly hospitable, serving you hot coffee and bottled water whenever you need. They even threw in a gift or two during our stay. WiFi is also freely available.

I will highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Prague..

Stayed at this hostel from 19-21 December 2011! Had the attic room for 3 people, which had a queen sized bed and a single bed. The room came with a small kitchen area, a toilet (with a air heater), the two beds and one couch sofa around a long table. Very cosy and home-like. The staff was also great and very friendly! Very helpful too as they recommended great places to eat at (such as Lokal Restaurant and Bohemian Bagels for breakfast!) and advised us on tours and things to do.

We got a half price discount from the hostel for the Segway Tours at 750 CZK. Not sure if you can get the discount at other places as well though.

The location of the hostel was SUPERB. Right next to the end of the Charles Bridge on the New Town side! So you can get to Old Town Square in just 15 mins, or to Prague Castle in about 20 mins!

You can also get free cups of coffee or tea, or bottled water at the lobby at any time of the day, courtesy of the hostel!

Room Tip: There's no elevator, so try to ask for a room on the lower levels if you're not backpacking!

Perfect location, rooms and service. The staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming. The dorm i stayed in was in an apartment style area with 3 bedrooms, a common room, kitchen and bathroom. All were well furnished, tidy and impeccably clean. The provided map and information was great and the free water bottles whenever you want very much appreciated. When in Prague, stay here!

Aside from the obviously premium location, which makes most of the city walkable, my bestie and I were really impressed by the scale and the elegance of the facilities. The hostel staff is the nicest Ive ever met, giving us an upgrade and free beer on my birthday! Highly recommended!

Room Tip: The private rooms were really cost effective, spacious and super comfortable. I also stayed in the d...

I went travelling around Europe and stayed in many hostels and this was by far the best, the rooms were clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostel was above the tourist info centre and there are so many leaflets and information to hand about the tourist attractions. The hostel also offers a half price segway tour which is highly recommended, the tour is in the evening and it goes up to the castle where you can get a beautiful view over Prague. I stayed in a 5 bed mixed dorm, and there was a little common room attached on to our bedroom with computer and internet access, and theres a bathroom and kitchen available. Very modern kitchen and bathroom, and all recently refurbished. Absolutly perfect location!! Basically attatched onto the end of the charles bridge!! An amazing hostel, comes highly recommended!!
