“Great meal! ”

I am writing this review 7 months later because I still remember how good the food was! My husband and I really enjoyed our meal... My favourite was the soft crab! If you like Asian food you must visit..!

“Fantastic restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014 via mobile

We had a great time at Sanshos this week. You don't get to choose what you eat which concerned me initially but you can let them know of anything you can't eat and they will exclude it for you. The food is absolutely excellent, by far the best food I had in Prague. It is quite expensive compared to other places in Prague but it is worth every penny! They source their food form their own farm and everything is fresh and tasty. The service is excellent, everyone is very friendly. Overall, if you're in Prague I'd definitely recommend you go here!

“Praguely perfect”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

Had a great meal here over Easter weekend - we'd had a very active day and not having to spend time choosing food by having the tasting menu was just perfect for us. The dishes of the day were on a chalkboard so you could see what was coming. All mouth-wateringly delicious. Sashimi was excellent. The soft-shell crab was a first for me and it was really good. Our waiter recommended a Czech Riesling and we were very pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The dessert didn't match the high standard of the rest but was perfectly acceptable. Excellent expressi and a well priced Redbreast finished things off very nicely. Waiters were friendly, efficient and attentive without being pushy. The place was unfussy and relaxed with room for everyone. As it should be.

“Delicious, and great atmosphere. And no decisions to make.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

This is the perfect restaurant if you are a group who eats everything. You go in, order a drink, nod a couple of times, and a procession of absolutely fantastic Asian fusion food comes in little sharing plates for a couple of hours. We had seared salmon sashimi, smoked trout and green mango salad (tastes way better than it sounds), a soft shell crab burger, beef rendang, a fantastic lamb curry-type dish and some desserts on a platter (which were the only think I would not give an "exceptional" to). All accompanied by a really good Czech riesling, and followed by superb espressos and 12 year old Redbreast whiskey at half the price of any bar in Ireland. Happy days indeed. Thank you.

“not an ordinary place!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014 via mobile

As I work nearby I come to Sansho for lunch sometimes where you choose from a menu. it is a bit pricey, but always worth the money. The service is excellent. The food is different from all other restaurants and more Asian-like. The good never disappointed me - just once I had some kind of meatballs which weren't anything special. It is good to make a reservation. Lot of expats come here also. the interior is extremely simple (maybe too much for someones taste), but they want people to come for the food and not for what it looks like :-)
