My wife and I chose this restaurant because it was just several blocks from the Hilton Hotel and was well rated by Tripadvisor reviewers. It bills itself as "gluten free", but that made no difference to us one way or the other. We just wanted a Czech dining experience near the hotel.
I ordered Venison Goulash with Spring Onion, Karlsbad Dumpling and red wine sauce. It was delicious, although I wouldn't be a regular fan of the dumpling. The sauce was excellent. My wife had Baked Norwegian Salmon, smashed potatoes and creamed spinach. She was very satisfied.
The bread served with the meal was indeed gluten free, made with special flour from Austria. I ordered a beer and was surprised to learn that it was also gluten free. It made no difference to me, it was good beer.
The restaurant, very unobtrusive, is entered from the street level, but is below ground; the vaulted ceiling gave me the impression of an undergound grotto, but it is bright with simple, attractive decor.
The patrons, which included a few small families, all appeared to be locals.
The food was quite inexpensive in my opinion. This is definitely not a tourist restaurant.
Our waiter was a young man who was efficient, polite, and informative. He spoke English well.
