On arriving in Prague from Newark 9/16, we looked for a restaurant near the Hilton InterContinental and found a real gem 2-1/2 blocks away (through the shopping mall and Metro station, make a left and it is 50 yards up the street on your right). Entree prices range from $8-12 and include traditional Czech dishes as well as Czech twists on Italian cuisine. I had the parmesan crusted pork loin with home made (and gluten free) gnocchi that was superb. Another had the beef goulash and gave it twothumbs up. We liked it so much that we returned the next night when we were less jet lagged.
Jaroslav provided attentive service and spoke fluent English. One minus: although it advertises "wines from around the world," the choices are rather limited.
