“GOOD SPOT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2013

I stayed at Hotel Trevi with family and was impressed. It's not expensive but was perfectly sufficient for a family group.

Best getting a room overlooking the garden as the rooms over the street are noisy at night due to the nearby trams.

Breakfasts were generous and tasty. Rooms were clean though the silicone along the bath probably needed replaced. Staff were helpful and those on reception had really good English.

It's in a good location just one street away from a tram stop and handy for the underground. The street felt safe even after dark.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value, no frills accommodation and I would go back.

I had to spend a few days in Prague in mid September and when I started looking for a hotel room I was horrified by the prices. The cheaper hotels were all fully booked because of a conference and I was delighted to find Hotel Trevi, an inexpensive four-star hotel very close to the metro station "Namesti Miru". The room was absolutely wonderful, quiet, clean and cosy. Excellent service at the reception, great breakfast, that's all one needs! I highly recommend it for long or short stays!

Room Tip: I had a room on the top floor and it was VERY quiet and sunny.

I stayed at this hotel twice, three nights in August and three nights in September. The location is very good, a block from the main underground line and surface trams. The location is quiet. The breakfast is very good also. On my first stay the wifi in my 3rd floor room was poor. On my recent stay in September the wifi on my 6th floor room was excellent. Bathrooms are roomy and clean. The very best features of Hotel Trevi that distinguish it from other hotels are the knowledgeable and helpful staff. Petra is simply outstanding! She knows the city, the restaurants, transportation, and most importantly, is always anxious to help. She will even make the phone calls necessary in Czech for you. And she helps with such a charming smile. Daniel was very helpful with se,ecting just the right restaurant for an important meeting.

We stayed in Prague for 2 nights & absolutely loved this hotel. Less than 5 min walk from the nearest metro station & about 15 min walk to the St Wencelas Square. We stayed on the 6th floor in a divine loft type room with sloping ceilings...was lovely with beautiful views. The breakfast was very average, but sufficient. Would definitely stay here again upon our return to Prague

The hotel was nice, all in all, but there were some issues. First off, beware if you arrive by car: there's no parking space in the streets around the hotel (it's all for residents only), and police were checking for cars that were parking without being owned by residents, which means when you arrive you have to quickly unpack everything and then move on.(we saw police checking the parked cars on the other side of the street more than once) Parking is available at a hotel nearby, but there are only a few parking spaces, cramped in a small inner yard, and the cost is 15euro/day (double what we paid in Dresden and Krakkow). Service was very nice, helpful and friendly, the place was very clean. The only thing that we didn't like was the fact that we got an attic room, which in terms of comfort is very different from the rest of the rooms (my parents got a normal room). The biggest issue was that the rooms hadn't been given a serious thought, so I was bumping my head in the ceiling when getting out of bed, we had 2 desks, only one of wich had a A/C plug nearby, only problem that the desk was behind the door and unaccessable, the central heating for the whole building was in our bathroom (what the...? if it brakes down i guess they just send someone to MY bathroom to fix it?!?!), the bathroom had no hooks for towels so we had to hang them on the radiator which was directly above the bidet and towels kept falling in there. Breakfast was of very good quality, but there was no real variety (a lot of delicious pastries, but only one type of ham, one type of cheese, one type of salami).Fruit juices, and tea were very good. It's close (2-3minute walk) to the metro station, and you can take the metro to the city center from there. Even if you decide to take a walk to the old city center, it's not more than a 15-20minute walk.

Room Tip: Attic rooms, while they are the only ones with air conditioning, are cramped and unwelcomming. I wou...

great staff - always very friendly and helpful, great location - 1 metro station from Museum and about 5 mints walking to centre, great breakfast - always plenty of food even if you are last person coming for breakfast, great rooms - big and very comfy bed, mini bar, very spacious rooms, some of them with a balcony. If you want to stay in a nice hotel in a great location you will not be disappointed. Me and my boyfriend stayed there many many times and never regret it !!

I stayed at the Trevi with 7 friends for 3 nights. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean and worked as it should. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style, but something for everyone. Hotel Trevi is very well located, close to tram service into city centre and also close to the Namesti Miru metro stop. We also walked to/from the centre and this was easy walking and directions. My wife and I are planning to return to Prague next year and we won't be looking elsewhere for a good hotel. Good local shops, bars and restaurants
