We went to a concert one night and it was lovely. The venue is amazing, the musicians were marvellous. A real bonus was the Prosecco in the cafe before the concert. Go a bit early so yo can enjoy this!
Only downside is that the tickets were expensive for a one hour concert. We paid £32 for each ticket. But the quality of music was excellent - even if it was brief. And speaking as a former professional classical musician myself, part of me didn't mind the ticket price knowing that underpaid musicians would benefit from this.
I am wondering, though, that if the tickets were a bit less expensive, would there be more people in the audience?? Most seats were empty.
