“Best of Prague”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2012

we stayed in the hotel for a long weekend. Design, good service and innovative solutions in the hotel made our stay an excellent experience. Booking in advance was easy and the young staff was polite and helpful. We also liked the breakfast; especially the bread was very good.

A stylish and contemporary concept hotel. Room was airy and clean with THE most comfortable beds I've ever encountered. Friendly, attentive staff - because we had booked 4 nights we received welcome drinks, a free transfer from the airport and a 30 minute massage in the wellness centre. Fantastic proximity to the Old Town (a mere 10 min stroll) so no taxis were needed even after a night out! No doubt about it, I would definitely stay at MOODs for future visits in Prague.

My wife and I Stayed here in September. Overall we thought it was a good hotel. The room was modern, quite "boutique", a little stark. Lots of space, and a big, comfortable bed. All the inputs for the TV, plus USB and power sockets were on the side of the desk. Wifi was free and worked well. There was a room safe and minibar. Bathroom wasn't bad, though wasn't as ergonomic as it could be. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was good: a small selection of cooked stuff, good range of cereals, fruit, bread, cheeses and meat.

Excellent stay at the Hotel! I almost busted my head as I was getting out of the shower due to the transparent door, which was NOT firm, but simply swigging. I complained very politely too make sure this was addressed.

Beyond that, Hotel's breakfast was healthy based on a variety of yogurts, granolas, hams, cheeses and pastries, to name a few. NO NEED TO BUY TRAIN OR TRAM TICKETS...10-15min walk from the "Astronomical Clock"! Staff was friendly!

Room Tip: Do not try relying on the bathroom transparent door. Have fun and drink a dark Kozel!

I found this hotel on lastminute.com and after reading the reviews on tripadvisor decided to book it for my friends surprise 40th weekend in Prague. The hotel is in an excellent location and I arranged a car to pick us up from the airport (650CZK). Unfortunately when we got there, Prague was going through prohibition on any alcohol >20% vol. Apparantly some dodgy people replaced vodka with Methanol and IMS and 25 people died so all the shelves have been cleared at all the hotels in the city. The girl on the front desk pointed us around the corner to the main bar street where we found all drinks freely flowing. During our stay they began to restock but not sure how long this will take. The location was good witrh our first restaurant Vino de Vino being only a 10 min stroll away. The rooms were comfortable but not particulary spacious but enough for two people on a weekend away. The only gripe I had was the lack of mirrors in the room and the fact that the fan in the bathroom kept turning itself off causing the bathroom mirror to mist up constantly. Apart from that the room was functional and most importantly quiet. The breakfsat buffet in the morning was included in the price and was amazing. All in all a great stay and would definately recommend this hotel to others.

Dear client, thank you for choosing hotel Moods for your stay and also thank you for the review. The exhibition of the alcohol for more then 20% finished. We are very sorry that unfortunately this happened during your visit of Prague. We hope that you will come back to Prague soon.
