“At the end, a terrible experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

The food was not terrible, but delicious neither. They offer you drinks and bread as they are on house, but at the end you pay it all, and with much money. They don't give you legal bill, but a two pieces of paper (post it's). 3 slices of bread cost 3 euros (70 czk), the 'medizinal' drink they offer you costs almost 4 euros (90 czk) and you have to pay a client tax 20 czk/pers. The service is mediocre. Our experience costed 44 euros and it didn't worthed even the half. I hardly recommend you to avoid this place.

“Not special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014 via mobile

The restaurant is really nice and typical close the castle.
They offer you everything and you pay all of them.
Food is quite good, nothing special but when you receive the bill you can't understand it. It's a little piece of paper and they mention only the first tree letter of the name of the food, really weird.
There are too many restaurant much better near by.

“Atmosphere, friendly and great food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2013

Came across this by accident as it's tucked away. We were there for an evening meal, very convenient for the excellent U Pava hotel ( also recommended ), it's 100 yards away. The West end of Charles bridge is 50 yards away. The food was very good ( try the duck ), the staff are very friendly ( complementary shots of some Very Nice, Very Strong Stuff ), and the ambiance warming. A lovely, good value evening.
The bill was 2800 CZK for 2 courses ( all 4 of us ) inc. beer & a bottle of wine.

“Fantastic food and service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

As a group of six, we stumbled onto this restaurant while trying to find another one below the Saint Charles Bridge. We decided to go inside and order food. What a wonderful quaint place with lots of atmosphere and good food! All of the wait staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered salads and goulash. They served large portions and the food was delicious. They also served several complimentary items and drinks. We ordered desserts as well as Vienna coffee served with mounds of whipped cream on top. If we had more time in Prague, we would have returned to this restaurant every day. We ate at five restaurants and this was the BEST!

“Da eveitare”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

We had read the reviews on tripadvisor, and we trusted past this restaurant a stone's throw from St. Charles bridge, from the outside the restaurant is very nice with a beautiful fireplace rustic furnishings and so on, as we walked in we noticed that there 'was none and it seemed that we had disturbed and already there ... however we ordered two dishes of Czech cuisine one with baked potatoes and vegetables and my wife got the gnocchi always traction Prague and the Czech Republic, both were worth my dish, the vegetables were almost raw ditto the plate my wife had the gnocchi uncooked as well as ... Fortunately the beer was good. To avoid moreover is also expensive to make fast we paid € 30.
