“Good Service, Food and Music!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012 via mobile

We were looking for authentic Czech food, and the hotel we were staying at recommended this place. The service was great. The gentleman who served us was polite and attentive. The food was tasty and filling. We had starters, main course, deserts and a bottle of wine for CZK 1,800 including tips. Not exactly that cheap, but we felt it was worth it. We enjoyed as well the music from Glenn Miller while we dined. It defintely created a nice ambience! The place may be a bit difficult to find though as it is located away from the main tourist areas.

“The best meal of weekend”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

My friends and I arrived at this restaurant just before we were leaving for the airport and we were so pleased we did. It so happens but it was right next door to our hotel (Hotel Leonardo) and we were sorry we hadn't fallen across it earlier. The food was by far our best and all freshly cooked and delicious. The gentleman who served us was attentive quiet and polite with nothing being too much trouble. It was like stepping back in time to the 1940's with soft music playing from, what sounded like a gramophone. Such a great find. We're already planning our return trip to Prague next year and this place will no doubt will be featured on our list of places to visit.

“Go for the Daily Lunch offer for best value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

Actually, the main menu prices are good value, they're just beyond my purse.

The daily lunch menu will feed and water you for about 250czk a head, and give you a taste of this gorgeous little place. Lovely room, lovely service, but be prepared to wait for your meal - unless it's a soup or a stew they don't keep it hot out the back, they cook to order, and it's always delicious. The butter they bring with the bread (unusal in itself in Prague, bread usually arrives unaccompanied) is VERY garlicky - yum.

The daily offer is served until it runs out, so not a place for a late lunch.

Nice place for the dinner. Big portion of food which is nice. But they are bit of too salty...

“Better than the usual Prague restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

This was the best meal we had in Prague - which unfortunately isn't saying very much. Nice atmosphere. You will probably need a reservation.
