“We had dinner here twice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 26, 2013

We had dinner here twice and no regrets. Of the three restaurants we ate at for dinner in Prague, this was the best. Try the traditional pork roast dish and do not miss the duck, which my son had. The beer was cold and reasonably priced. For desert, apple strudel is not to be missed. Family friendly and service both nights was great.

“Va visitors”

Found through trip advisor. Traditional Czech dinner delightful. Atmosphere informal. Staff attentive and friendly as they occasionally sang along with the Czech background music.

“Wonderful all around!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Great service, atmosphere, food, price (for the location) and people seem genuinely happy to work there. We were in Prague for 5 full days and ate here about 4 times!

“Food excellent, service ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013 via mobile

We Visited this restaurant after reading the reviews on TA, when we arrived we where reluctantly given a table towards the rear of the restaurant where I think we where forgotten about until my wife managed to get the waiters attention. From that point the service was a little slow. The food however was excellent and priced reasonably. 7/10

“A Very Pleasant Place, A Very Pleasant Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2013

This was probably the best dinner we had in Prague. Restaurant „U Mlynare“ in Nerudova street, right on your way to Prague Castle (or back), is nothing particularly fancy but it is a nice and comfortable place with very good food, pleasant atmosphere, decent prices, no hidden costs and no extra charges, and the best „Grandma soup“ in bread bowl - which is of course one of the great Czech specialties - we have tried so far. All in all, it is a very good choice for dinner in Mala Strana, or indeed in the whole Prague. Recommended!
