“Great location, service and quality at a very good price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My wife and I went to Prague for the first time ever for our 10th wedding anniversary. We choose this hotel for the location and good reviews and the reviews weren't wrong! It's in the middle of old town right next to all the great sites and a metro stop is really close to the entrance. All the staff member are very nice and service minded and take their time to assist you in any way. As an extra touch they brought us a bottle of champagne on the house to celebrate our anniversary. The king size bed was very comfortable and their spa (gym, pool, steam bath and sauna) was a good way to start or end the day. We are coming back here next year for sure!

This was our first visit to Prague. Stayed in an executive floor with complementary lounge with food and drinks. Room, and buffet breakfast were nice. Location is wonderful. Walking distance to all attractions and easy drive to airport. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and the public transportation local rail system is close by. Staff were very helpful with recommendations and how to navigate the city The old town is beautiful at night, very charming. We want to visit again. One of our favorite cities.

We told the hotel several times that the air conditioning was not working in our room. Even turning temperaure down to 18 c ( which should be like 66f), it never cooled down. They kept saying it was fine. The room should have been an ice box at that setting! Yet we couldn't get it to cool. Instead we slept with the windows open only to hear the clanging of the trash cans in the court yard.
Housekeeping never turned down our room the 2nd night (5 stars?) and, honestly, the room is not very clean. The night table could use a good dusting!
On the other hands. The concierge suite, with snacks is quite nice. They could add bottled water to the options, but does have wine, beer, and good snacks.
Breakfast buffet is outstanding..

I stayed here with my husband for 3 nights in April 2015. From the check in procedure to check out, the entire experience at this hotel was made perfect. The rooms are massive for Europe standard. Very clean and new, well maintained rooms. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast. Elaborate spread with a huge variety of fruits with different cereal, juices, milkshake options. There is a fresh orange juice machine and a yogurt machine that makes fresh vanilla bean yogurt. There is a live egg station that serves soft fluffy omlette the way you like. The hotel staff is very warm and courteous making sure you are having a wonderful time. Highly recommend this Hotel to anyone visiting Prague. Location wise it is bang opposite Palladium Mall and very convenient to all tourist spots.

The Kings Court Hotel looks very impressive from the outside but unfortunately doesn’t live up to its opulent exterior on the inside. It’s situated in a very convenient location at the Náměstí Republiky square which is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the central Old Town Square and the famous Wenceslas Square. There is always lots going on and you are really spoilt for choice for interesting things to do. We had a truly wonderful holiday break that was very memorable indeed. However, the hotel itself, which was billed as a 5-star, was somewhat of a disappointment. We had a room on the 6th floor just under the roof. It had two small windows set very high up on the wall so that you could only see out of if you stood on a chair. The décor was in generally good condition but had the feeling of a mediocre business hotel, although my young son though it felt more like a prison cell due to the high windows. The bathroom was nicer and felt pleasant – it had both a bath and a shower but the bath was somewhat impractical as there was no hand held shower head. The maze of dingy brown winding corridors leading from the lift to the room felt rather drab, certainly for a so-called 5 star hotel. On the plus side, the reception staff were very friendly, helpful and organised and the concierge was excellent. The hotel has a brasserie restaurant that is half inside the building and half on the street which gives a nice al-fresco alternative in sunny weather. The brasserie serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. The iPad menus are very up-to-the-minute but ironically detract, rather than add to the classiness of the establishment (seeing a picture of the food that you are about to eat is something I normally associate with cheaper restaurants). The number of tables in the brasserie for breakfast is too few for the size of the hotel – that’s OK on weekdays but leads to extended waits at peak times on weekends, particularly for parties of more than two – it must be quite stressful for the staff to manage this situation, particularly if the weather outside is poor. The Spa area is tucked away underground and is only accessible by a special lift that isn’t easy to find. We took one look at the “swimming pool” and wondered why we bothered as it could best be described as a large bath. The bar was interesting and trendy with pleasant live piano playing on some nights. Despite the mixture of some good and some less good points, a stay here is almost guaranteed to be delightful due to the absolutely wonderful surroundings and the feast of wonderful things to do and experience in this fabulous city. If you do choose to stay at the Kings Court, I would suggest avoiding rooms like ours on the 6th floor. We loved the wonderful Art Nouveau restaurant next door – very classy indeed.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms like ours on the 6th floor

Excellent location in Prague old town. Good tram and metro connection.

Small reception area with impressive but very dusty chandeliers. However, our room was clean.

Very good breakfast selection, although the restaurant is quite small and you need to explore the layout of the food.

Big room, good sized bathroom, very good internet connection. Friendly and helpful staff, although the hotel should put out a warning sign in the lobby for all guests to be aware of the unscrupulous money changer next door, a daylight ripoff, changed $300 and took $70 as commission!!!!! So guests please avoid it.

Fantastic hotel in great location - walking distance of most major attractions. The breakfast is the best I've ever had. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a problem on our final day with airport transfer arranged by Easyjet that didn't show up bot hotel receptionist found us a car within minutes and porter took our bags out quickly so that we did not miss our flight. Can't praise them enough! Would definitely recommend thyis hotel.

Room Tip: Our room was on 7th floor and very quiet with a good view.
