“perfect hotel for our Prague trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The Kings Court has a first class
service, very comfortable beds and - first of all - great location! We could
reach most of sightseeings on foot. And if not, concierge arranged a taxi.
We felt very welcome at this place.

My daughter and I had a 5 days-girls only excursion to Prague. Wonderful staff, location, food. Had the executive package (a must and well worth the money). Unlimited access to the executive lounge, which had soft drinks, beer, wine, champagne, etc. food, snacks, fruit- everything and anything you could need during the day. All you could eat/drink all day from 10am til 8pm. We also had access to the spa area which included a pool/Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, showers and relaxation area! Great get away from the city life!

The location was great. We had the metro right outside our hotel door and a tram car as well. # huge shopping centers, which my daughter loved!!!

The hotel was clean, nicely furnished, but the TV was horrible. We ordered the extra tv channels for 300czk, but it didn't work. The only channels we had were news in many various languages.

Did experience the annoyance of slamming doors when people went in and out of their rooms. Not very sound proof from the hallways. Very annoying, but no noise from the street below us, we were on the 3rd floor.

We had asked for a non-smokers room, but when we got there the room reeked of smoke. I complained and they ran some air cleanser and it was better. But within a couple of hours it was the odor was back. I think the smoke got caught in the ventilation system and poured it out through ours. Luckily we didn't spend much time in the room, other than to sleep.

All in all, I would definitely go back to this hotel and recommend it to others!!

Room Tip: Get the executive package and the larger rooms! Well worth it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is ideally located for walking to all main attractions of Prague. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Staff were very friendly and helpful with good service in the bar and restaurant. The food quality was great and a good choice for the breakfast buffet and dinner menu. We also enjoyed some nice cocktails. It was lovely to sit on the terrace enjoying the sun whilst having breakfast. We would definitely stay here again when in Prague.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a junior suite, which was much larger than the standard room but not much more in cost. It included access to the executive floor, breakfast and free wi fi throughout.
The breakfast was fantastic with a wide selection of food. The bed was very comfortable. Service is first rate with nothing being too much trouble. In fact I left my prescription sunglasses behind and it only took a quick email to have them sent to me.
The location is great a quick 5 minute walk to the old square and astronomical clock, Paris street (shopping designer brands) and a 15-20 minute casual walk across Charles bridge and to the Palace district.
I would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a junior suite it's well worth it, if you value your space

We spent two nights at this hotel and each and every staff member were most helpful and courteous. Location is central to almost everything in Prague. It sits steps from the subway and at the concurrence of several tram lines--but you can easily walk to all of the sites. Breakfast is great--bountiful selection of everything to eat! Sit outside and enjoy the street scene.

Room Tip: We were in 601--it only had half windows, but was not much to see anyhow. x02 are right in the elev...

We stayed here for our 38th wedding anniversary in an Executive room overlooking Republic Square. Transportation to the hotel from the airport was arranged through the hotel and worked out at about £24 each way payable at reception. The driver was waiting for us at the airport and we arrived at the hotel within twenty minutes. The facade of the hotel was truly imposing and marked the corner of Republic Square. The metro is next to the hotel, but we walked everywhere as all the main attractions in Prague are within walking distance. Prague Castle is the only attraction you will need transport for unless you are very fit. Check in went very smoothly and we were shown to our room. The hotel is stylish and has a certain charm. It is tastefully decorated and is meticulously clean. The staircases and large landings are particularly comfortable and because of that we did not use the elevator. Mind you we were on the second floor. Our room mirrored the excellent impression the hotel had made on us. It was spotlessly clean and the Queen sized bed was super comfortable, as were the pillows. The bathroom was squeaky clean and had a full sized bath as well as a separate shower. Tastefully decorated with a writing desk and a separate armchair, together with a large Samsung TV and plenty of wardrobe space, It was all one could wish for. Minutes after we arrived a young lady appeared at the door wishing us a happy anniversary and offering us a small cake and some fruit; a lovely gesture that does make a difference. As we had bought into the Executive deal we had the use of the Executive Lounge and also the Spa. The Lounge is on the third floor and is manned from 11 to 8 everyday. There you can ask the concierge for anything, from simple directions to booking a restaurant. You can do this comfortably having a complimentary drink or eating a snack. We used this service regularly and can recommend it without reservation. Romana to begin with and then Susanna were very helpful and did the Hotel proud. We used the Spa regularly and used the robes and slippers provided. Although small it was sufficient for our needs after a long day trekking around the wondrous streets of Prague. My wife underwent a peeling session and she was very impressed. They also have a very small gym that is next to the spa. Breakfast was served every morning in their restaurant facing Republic Square. It had everything you could wish for and some more. Plenty to delight the sternest of critics. This is a hotel that I would clearly visit again and would highly recommend.

Room Tip: I would go for the Executive offer

We just came back from 6 days vacation in Prague. Hotel Kings Court was very comfortable and superbely located. Great buffet breakfast served on the terrace that opens in the square. Clean rooms and good housekeeping.

My only disappointement was with the spa services. I had booked a facial and I arrived 5 mins late. They made me fill a form that took 10 mins. Then they made me wait in the room to change and prepare myself. Another 7-8 min gone. Even though I requested not to shape my eyebrows, the therapist spends another 10 mins doing that. Then she leaves me in the room for 15 mins with some mask. In the end I receive 8 mins face massage and my facial was over and I was rushed out of the room and I was ripped off 1650.00Czech Crowns.

If you stay in Kings Court, I recommend you to go to very reasonable and upclass Thai spa for massages and face treatment which is like 5 mins walk from the hotel. Very economical compared to King Court and far better services.

Dear Madam,

We were surprised and disappointed to hear of your experience in our SPA as we never receive any complaints and especially not about any of our treatments.

I would like to stress out that we ask all our clients to come 15 minutes prior to the time appointment time, which is also written on the confirmation you might have received if booking via email. The health and safety questionnaire must be filled prior to the start of the treatment in order to ensure that we do not use any product or technique that may harm or irritate your skin. We also must be aware of your health condition; this is a standard practise of any spa. There are 10 easy questions contained in the Health and Safety questionnaire which we have printed in several languages to make it as simple as possible, completing rarely lasts longer than 2-3 minutes.
With reference to the eyebrow shaping, there might have been a misunderstanding between you and the therapist for which we apologise. I will discuss this with her to ensure it does not reoccur and I thank you for letting us know.

We regret we could not do the full treatment as there was another guest waiting for his appointment already and we reserve the right to charge the full cost if we start later due to a guest coming late.

Once again we apologise and we wish you all the best in the future.

With kind regards,

Katarina Vlkova
