“A gem in Namesty Republiki!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2011

Every time we approached the Namesti Republiki, i admired the hotel more and more!
Perfect location, absolutely safe, beautiful and outside the hotel lovely shopping malls, restaurants, exchange, tram, metro and everything you need! A short walk from the old town and Charles Bridge. The hotel did not have the 5* prestige and the staff did not have the 5* quality but they did their best to everything we asked. They were kind and helpful.
The room was spacius, clean and comfortable. We loved kings Court Hotel and we would definitely recomend it!

As a family we have stayed in Prague many times and at some of the smaller old town hotels and had great stays .. we couldn't book in to our regular places this last time as they were all fully booked and so decided to try The Kings Court. We had a Junior Suite and a deLuxe room- both really lovely rooms and with all the facilities you expect from a 5* hotel. The staff were all friendly and helpful and there were lots of nice touches ... fresh bakes instead of sweets in reception, chocolate coated strawberries and other treats daily brought to rooms, executive suite with fruit sandwiches etc available all day. The hotel is really well situated for the old town and shopping - its on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. The only down side for us if that the building was less historic than we are used to, but its interior is on a grand scale.

Room Tip: The suite we stayed in had a balcony which is a nice touch

We stayed here for 5 nites last week, we upgraded to a Executive room on arrival purely for the view, we paid extra 35 euro per nite, but it gave free access to spa, sauna, gym and the executive lounge. Exec lounge has free drinks and snacks, open 8.00 am - 8.00pm, we got lucky and had sushi. Normally they charge 10 euro per person per day just to use the spa. My wife had a massage approx 60 euro she was very happy with it. You can probably get for a little cheaper if you have the time to shop around.

Hotel room was very clean and very comfortable ,shower was impressive.
Spa was great, very very quite between 6.00pm - 10.00pm. The hotel was used by families, business and couples. Very nice restaurant attached to the hotel and very nice bar called the Vodka Bar.

Suggest using taxi service of AAA cars, you may be a little extra but they are highly recommended in Prague. Bearing in mind some taxi drivers may charge 2-3 times of the actual fare.

There is a shoppping centre opposite the hotel, make sure you dont get run over by the tram though when trying to get their ! At the highest level of the centre there are numerous food restaurants from Mongolian to Macd's etc etc.

5 mins walk to the Old Town, location is really really good.

At 2.00pm in the Old Town there are services where you can use for free where they give you guides around prague, and you tip them at the end.

Superb restaurants and bars, But strongly recommend you check every single item on the bill before paying for it, as i almost got caught out a number of times. They "accidentally" put extra items on the bill. Dont expext the best customer service skills around Prague, with everything they have been through you will probably understand why a certain amount of people are a little miserable. We walked out of 1 restaurant.

Room Tip: When booking try and a get an exec room at the front of the hotel, it gives really great views.

Booked a junior suite which was big enough for family of 4. Gave us access to the executive lounge which provides sandwiches, drinks, snacks etc. The hotel has free wifi throughout.

Great shopping centre across road for Starbucks fix. 5 min walk from old town square.

My husband and I booked this hotel after MUCH deliberation. We were looking for location, amenities and comfort. This hotel met and exceeded all of our hopes. As Americans, we like big rooms with great beds. We were not disappointed. The spa was great (clothing optional) and the massages were great. Overall, good value for the money. We did upgrade our room to be able to enjoy the executive privileges. These were nice, but after second thought, not a real value for us. It did make us feel special which was part of the plan. Location was terrific, the staff warm and accommodating and the included breakfast wonderful. The previous reviewers did this place justice. We would stay here again.

Room Tip: Ask for the view. The "quiet courtyard" is dreary and residential. We kept the drapes cl...

We stayed here for 7 nights while my husband was attending a conference. The location was great... a five minute walk to the old town square and just across from the Municipal House. Many restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The room was bigger than I expect from European hotels and very comfortably modern. It was extremely clean! The free wi-fi was very helpful for use with my i-pad. The breakfast buffet is also complimentary and seemed to have anything one would want. We ate dinner here one night and it was excellent. The pumpkin beet salad was one of the freshest foods I had in Prague and the chocolate ice cream was wonderfully decadent with fresh berries! Try the Czech wines... they are really quite good! The staff was very helpful with directions, restaurants and even when I was locked out of my safe!

I stayed here for 5 nights during a recent conference in Prague. The hotel is in a good location for walking around and seeing both the old area and main square. The rooms were good and it was nice sitting in the heated outside restaurant area at night. The workout facilities are good although a little tight on space.
