“Luxury hotel apartment in the heart of Prague.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

"Hunger Wall Residence" is an apartment hotel.
I have had the pleasure of living in a large and well furnished two bedroom apartment with nice bath and a modern kitchen.
There is a restaurant that serve delicious breakfast, at the bottom of the property, if you do not bother messing with it your self. The staff is very friendly and service minded.
Would thoroughly recommend if you want to be a bit on your own and still have the hotel benefits such as reception desk, daily housekeeping, etc.

Everything about this place was awesome. It is located 100mtr from tram stop and not too far from the old town. We just had to change one tram to reach the old town.
The staff which helped us check in was very friendly and explained us everything and ushered us in the room. We had a one bedroom apartment which had a bedroom, hall and kitchen.
Bedroom had a nice cozy bed and study table. The kitchen was fully equipped with clean utensils and induction coil. The room service cleans the dirty utensils everyday in the morning.
Bathroom had a tub, washing machine and dryer and was very clean.
Overall we had an amazing time during our stay.
Definitely recommended for a visit in Prague...

First of all, the hotel is located in a perfect location, quiet, just by the Most legi bridge, a short walk from Charles bridge (it is great to walk there while crossing Kampa parks, near the riverside), also just in front the famous Petrin hill, where you can walk up to the castle and to the Paruge "Eiffle tower".

We had a superior room, for 3 nights\4 days and an extra late check out, which the nice lady who runs the hotel allowed us to have. Our room wasn't booked the next day, so it was possible for us to stay in until we had to leave for the airport.

The room was cozy and well equipped, and was great going back to after a long day outside.
During the night it gets a bit dry in the room because of the hitting. we put some bowls with water so it will be less dry. But overall the sleep quality is very good.
The restaurant down stairs was lovely and we had two good breakfasts there (they make the best hot chocolate!), and their staff are very friendly, attentive and pleasant (not like most tired-of-tourists-service-providers around the city).

Extremely convenient location for the center of Prague - many buses, grocery stores and restaurants within a block. Small kitchenette and a bakery around the corner make breakfast very easy. Apartment on a quiet street is spacious and comfortable. We even found a parking spot in front! Helpful staff who speak good English. When I mentioned the inadequate bedside reading lights to the manager she responded that they will address it - nobody seems to have noted this before.
A cafe on the first floor also serves wine on the lovely outside patio.
Would definitely return.

You may want to stay at the hotel at Old Town due to transportation factor. But the transportation is also very convenient here. Just walking out of the alley there are trams which can take you to the castle, Old Town, New Town area, and Andel station, which is the shopping area in the Little Town. There's a grocery shop around the corner of the block. The staff at Hunger Wall is so professional and friendly. Everything you asked for they will try their best to arrange for you. The appartment is clean and furnished with some design features. The washer and dryer are also of great help. There's a cafe downstairs and you can call room service from there, and the food is good. If I go to Prague again, I will choose Hunger Wall again!
