“Definitely a value for money choice!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

** If you are on a budget trip, and whichever room you occupy, you occupy it to it's full capacity, then there is probably nothing more value for money than this hotel! **

It is not far from the city centre, and only requires a 10 minute bus ride to Palmovka, followed by a 15 minute metro ride on average to get into the heart of the city, Praha 1. Both of which are regular services without long waiting periods!

There's free wifi available for all occupants, and fresh linen on request. The room, bath and lobby was clean enough.

We opted out of the breakfast/food option as there's a couple of nice pubs/bars not more than 3 mins by foot. So, can't comment on the hotel food, but the 2 bars were good! The other option is to take the next bus to Palmovka and pick something fresh from the bakery just across from the bus terminal.

Over 5 days we encountered a variety of very friendly staff, with the exception of one, who seemed, well, preoccupied/rude! But that's just an exception, as the others were very nice!

It's not the shiniest of accommodations, but if you are a budget traveller like me who enjoys prefers hostels/dorms and budget hotels, then this place will be great value for money!

Close to bus and metro station, good wi fi signal on every floor.
Very thin walls, strange ,awkward smell in the hallway, not so comfortable beds.
Breakfast is good, stuff is pleasant. Private parking is available, but you can park in front of the hotel for free. All in all , it is low budget hotel good for short and cheap stay in Prague.

The location is the main bad thing about this hotel...ok, the bus stop is just across the road, but you still have to walk a few minutes when you come off a bus to reach the metro station(which is, by the way, almost the last red metro line station).
The food was also bad, once or twice in a week inedible.
The rooms are mostly old and shabby, but there is a section which has been newly refurbished, and the rooms in that section are nicer and the furniture is (obviously) newer.
The staff are ok.
All in all, there are better hotels on a much better location for a much better price in Prague than this one. No need to stay here.

1.) Wifi doesn't work in the entire hotel room, only in one location.
2.) No plugs where there is wifi.
3.) Beds made of plywood. Very uncomfortable, looks more like a couch than a bed.
4.) Bugs in the room
5.) During breakfast, a majority of the food was gone and there was nothing to drink. When I asked for something to drink she told me to wait but no one ever came and filled up the container.
5.) There is no housekeeping unless you request it
6.) Must pay for handsoap, body wash and conditioner.
7.) Must walk 15 minutes up a hill to get to the metro.
8.) Not very close to the city center.

The hotel is quite nice, good communication , ca 3 min to Metro. Neverthelles breakfasts were awful. "Ham", "Sausages" and ..."cheese" which was made from paper of something else... You should remember to go for breakfast earlier about 7-8 am (breakfasts last 7:00-9:30) because later there is no milk, no juice, "sausages" are cold and the is no bread.
Staff is quite friendly.
I recommend this hotel if you do nt have a lot of money, you do not want to sit in the otel for all day long :) but you just want to sleep there. Pragha is beautiful place, don't waste your time and come to Pragha :)

Room Tip: Ask for rooms with the view on the city (street). It's amazing 'cause hotel is situated on t...

Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights as it was close to the 02 arena. The room is very basic which is what you would expect for the price. There were no curtains at the window just a net so was light in the room at 5am. Only 1 chanel worked on the tv and there are no drink making facilities in the room just a fridge.

We had hardly any loo roll and had to go and ask for some as the house keeper didnt put any more in or clean towels. On the last night there, we had a group of what can only be described as kids in the room next door the walls are that thin that you can hear every sound and they were shouting and screaming and running up and down the stairs as their friends were in the room above.

This place is in an ideal place to commute it is 2 bus stops from the prosek metro station. The web site says a short walk but is a steep hill going back and is an easy 15 min walk so if you get the bus from mcdonalds next to metro its 2 bus stops down.

The staff are all friendly here and most can speak english the food is really nice and home cooked. The breakfast is usual hot dogs, ham , cereal etc but is good for the money.

With a bit of money spent on this place it could be much better but it looks closer to a hostel than a hotel.
