Decided to eat here as it was close to our hotel and after a full day of pounding the streets of Prague we couldn't face walking any further! We got the impression the place had been around for years and nothing much had changed since the 80's. Kind of place the restaurant inspector might visit on TV and start by advising them to remove the book shelves of files and other assorted clutter and the two overhead tv's that were noisily tuned to an Italian station whilst we were trying to eat! After reading other reviews we seem to have faired well on the service front. The waiter wasn't drunk (it was early evening) and he was reasonably friendly. As others have stated the owner and his family were eating their own dinner when we arrived and seemed completely disinterested in their guests. Not a look, a smile or anything, we definitely felt like unimportant tourists. The food was average and edible but nothing special.
