“Great for Art Nouveau Lovers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

This restaurant serving traditional Czech food plus much more is worth the price just to see the decor! We enjoyed a lovely meal with excellent service. One of our party had dietary restrictions which were handled in a pleasant and efficient manner. My husband had goulash with sauerkraut and I had hanger steak, both were delicious. The house wine went perfectly with the steak. The atmosphere was casual without being tacky. There was a separate room for people dinning with children that had a play area and looked very pleasant. I would highly recommend the Cafe Imperial.

“Wonderful experience.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012 via mobile

We stayed at this hotel and our breakfasts were included. Wonderful selection of items for the health conscious and the traditional cholesterol loaders. They even had low fat bulk yogurt that I had not found at other restaurants. Great smoked salmon and good bread to add it to. The tile decor is worth the trip. A beautifully restored room. The staff are friendly and attentive.

“Best meal on recent European tour by far.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

This restaurant was recommended by a prominent chef as one of his favourites in Prague and his recommendation was spot-on. The decor was impressive, the prices reasonable, the service swift and professional and the food was plate-licking good. I had braised veal cheeks with mashed potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and vegetables. (350ck) My wife had braised beef with creamy sauce, dumplings and cranberries. (205ck) We each had a glass of excellent wine followed by creme brulee with biscuits. Superb! Basically a place where you would like to eat every night.

“Beautiful setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Went for lunch and had the daily lunchtime special, Goulash soup. The meal, coffee and service were excellent. The place is just so beautiful, wished we had gone for a meal in the evening. Don't forget to visit the toilets to see the lovely gold swan taps!!
