After a long day of air travel, we decided to eat at the Prague Hilton rather than leave the hotel in search of a restaurant outside. Arriving at the Czech House restaurant at about 8pm, we were told that no seats were available, though few tables were occupied. After a bit of discussion were were allowed to sit at a high table by a window looking over the kitchen. Oddly, few other diners arrived during the evening, so we couldn't quite figure out what the problem was in seating us.
Once seated, service was good and the food was tasty, though not memorable. All the portions (from appetizers to main dishes) were quite small, though relatively high priced. It was definitely the most expensive meal of our trip, but they left us alone to relax, which was exactly what we needed at that moment, so maybe it was worth the price!
