“Big for Europe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

The rooms were very big for most euro hotels and so was the bed. Although the bed was very hard...I don't mind that. Breakfast was nice. Staff was wonderful. all the ladies especially were delightful. The location is pretty nice if you don't mind a little walk to Old Town. I was there to walk a bit so I enjoyed it and it is basically a straight shot so it was easy to find our way there. It is also right next to a metro stop if you are going a bit further. There are lots of shops and restaurants close by, but the actual street is very quiet. The room service is over at 9pm which is kind of a bummer for business travelers.
The bathroom had heated floors which was a lovely little touch. Also in the closet there are things that look like extra blankets but if you open them up they are robes. I love when hotels hook you up with a robes.
Overall I would definitely stay here again.
The gym isn't free so I just did Insanity in my room. No info on that.

Hotel is conveniently located between Florenc metro/bus station and city center, on a quiet street. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast is not super, but ok. Room is spacious. I was happy to have booked this hotel.

Overall we were disappointed by this hotel. It is said to be 4 star and has won an award from Tripadvisor this year. However, although the room was spacious, the outlook was onto a derelict graffittied building. The curtain rail and skirtings were broken. There was no TV handset, or coffee making facility. The shower screen seal had perished at the bottom, and was none existant on the pivoting section, so water went all over the floor when showering. The colourscheme was depressing in maroon, with mahogany coloured wood for the furniture, and cream walls. The Wellbeing centre looked like it was hardly ever used, maybe because it was an extra. Our Jacuzzi was tepid and wasn't full enough with water. We complained and weren't charged. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was good. But overall not a four star experience.

Room Tip: Request a room that faces the street, or the Interior Patio. The other rooms face a depressing derel...

Has the feel of a big city hotel on a safe but non-descript street. Interior is pleasing to the eye and the rooms were of a good size. Our window faced an interior courtyard and a boarded-up building but we didn't expect to see Prague's beauty and history from our window. The breakfast buffet was above-average. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. We spent 3 pleasant nights here.

Staying here on a business trip and while the area isn't as pretty as the middle of old town, it's clean and there's lots of nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. You're right near the river and it's about 5 minutes walk to get into the main square.
The room I had was huge, twin beds with a large TV, good size bathroom and was cleaned well each day.
The hot water was a bit intermittent but was sorted out eventually, and I wouldn't stay here if you were excited by the "spa". Didn't use it myself, but it's in the basement and looks a little past its best. The breakfasts were good, lots to choose from including fried breakfast, fruit, breads and cereals. As per usual in these places, the coffee is atrocious, but you can't have everything.
It's not Prague's nicest hotel, but it is a bit cheaper and the location is great and the staff are very helpful. One disappointment for me is the fact they only stock one type of beer and it's a dark beer so you should go grab your nightcap elsewhere, but in Prague that never seems to be a problem.

Room Tip: Try and avoid a courtyard room as there's quite a lot of noise and chatter from guests having a...

Rooms are large and comfortable, decor is pleasing. Beds are excellent.

Service is excellent, hotel is in a handy location a nice walk into the old town.

Food could be better, but why would you eat in the hotel in Prague ?

Reasonable price too. Give it a nudge.

I went on a work trip to Prague, and this was a little oasis of calm. Cool in the heat, comfortable rooms, nice staff and conveniently located about a 15 minutes walk from the main attractions. Well worth a visit.

Room Tip: It's nice having a room with a door that opens onto the courtyard (i.e. ground floor).
