We were on a AMA river cruise that started in Prague. We read a blog from someone who recommended this restaurant. I was a perfect meal. The restaurant is a little hard to find as it is off the square by the big clock. What a find. Local atmosphere, like you were eating in a medieval tavern old wooden sleds on the ceiling, old wooden tables, etc. The food is excellent. My wife had the gnocchi with spinach and english bacon. It was the best gnocchi we had tasted anywhere. I ordered a local sausage and cabbage dish that was also excellent with a side order of Sauerkraut pancakes, that was so large we shared it with four teenagers sitting at the table next to us. With local beer to accompany the meal we were in heaven. Unfortunately the meal portions were so large we didn't have room for desert. The total cost for the two of us was approx $35.
