I always eat here when I'm in Prague. (I've been to Prague 4 times.)
The atmosphere is fantastic and the food is the best I've ever had anywhere in the world.
Last time we were there (December 23, 2012) Petr recognized us and was really attentive even tho the place was full. He even came over with another beer even tho we hadn't finished the first one, we were about to order another one but it was like he read our minds. That's what I call really good service!
There has been times when we had to wait for a seat but trust me, the food is worth waiting for!
A huge plus is that this place serve dark beer. (Kozel Černý)
The beer goulash is AMAZING! The bread that it's served in is crispy so it won't get soggy and it's very flavorful. I'm a vegetarian but I ordered just the sauce in a bowl and it's really nice to dip the garlic baguette.
If you're a vegetarian I recommend the potato dish with spinach, onion, garlic topped with Edam cheese. I also like the garlic baguette, baked potato with sour cream and onion rings in a beer batter.
I have nothing bad to say about this little gem of a restaurant.
The food is really amazing and worth every Koruna.
