“Not nice”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

This was our second visit to the restaurant after more than a year. The first time, we were quite happy with the food and the service and so we decided to have dinner here again .
What a dissapointment!! The food was very average, the quality much worse than what we experienced last time. I suspect they must have changed the chef. We left feeling ripped off as the overpriced bill did not match the quality of the food.

“Shocking experience”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

We have been to the restaurant a few times in the past few years, the food was always delicious and service great. So we came in expecting a pleasant evening with some good food. Everything turned out extremely bad from the very beginning however. Service was terrible - the daily menu was not offered until prompted, we were handed our ordered bottle of wine without any explanation or pouring, in fact - no service at all. 90% of the food we asked for was not available (this included items from the menu as well as items from the daily menu which were written on a chalkboard...). It was difficult to choose a meal but we managed in the end, imagine our surprise when after waiting for more than 30min we were told that they couldn't give us the two portions of mussels we ordered, they only had enough for one... We were told we could have steak instead... so we had 1 portion of mussels for 2.... with sand .... what a gourmet experience! We voiced our complaints to the staff and the owner apologized and admitted the food wasn't up to their former standard, in the end we were still presented with a full premium priced bill though.

“Freshest gourmet cuisine, near Prague airport”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

My mouth is watering just thinking about returning... and I'm not even hungry. The atmosphere is relaxed and yet interesting in every direction you look. Outside, you can take a quick tour of the garden where much of the food is grown. Oh, and if you sample a few too many Belgian beers, they also have a few hotel rooms. The whole place feels like a large bed & breakfast, but with the finest chefs in town.

“Nice setting in countryside, but food not worth the trip”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2011

The restaurant itself is charming, very rustic and peaceful. The garden with live poultry is fun for kids. That about sums up the attraction though, its a daytrip kind of place to meet up with people, not really a food place.

The menu is trying to be too many things and doesnt manage any of them, i havent had anything here that was amazingly cooked, just competently.

The service can be good and be terrible (once had waiter forget 1 of 4 main courses completely, great sitting there eating while one person twiddles thumbs then eats 15 min later).

If you live nearby in the satellite towns its probably best pick, if you live in Prague, there is much better and enjoyable. Price wise its just about worth it if everything runs smoothly.

“Romantic wonderfull top quality restaurant with beautifull garden”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2011

The interior is like in the Provence and let you dream from the good live in France.
The food is great and made with a lot of care, fresh products and herbs, amazing!
By good weather the terras is the place to be with your family, there is a play garden what our kids like a lot. Try the escargot, chicken estragon or the mussels, Peche Melba as a dessert was fantastic.
The gardens and specially the herb gardens are unique and we learned a lot from the owner.
