I do not have any experience at other Hotels in Kutna Hora, but I can say that my room was clean, the towels were clean, the bed was nice (euro-firm) looked and smelled clean, TV had a couple of English stations (for people that go to Europe to watch TV, go figure). My room rate included the breakfast, which was typical continental, razor thin sliced meats and cheese, cereal, yogurts, poached egg, and bread with schmears (butter/jam/nutella), coffee/tea/milk/juices. Certainly enough to power you through lunch. The staff had command of sufficient English to be helpful, and were quite accommodating. Old school, leave the key at the desk when you leave the building.
The location was good to the old town area, as well as a train station. If you go, be sure to eat at Ruthardce and Pivnice Dacicky (I ordered the dagger, but a sword is probably quite a show!). For more of a white tablecloth experience, check out Barbora, ate there on the last night. Beautiful view of the cathedral and city. Modest portions, quality, environment and view made up for that easily.
