“Good Location has WiFi”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 27, 2013

Stayed here on business. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Most staff have English which helps me agreat deal. Dinner menu is very good, breakfast is OK nothing special pretty typical continental breakfast. Did not try the wellness suite but I am told it is good. Best point for me it is an easy walk to local restaraunts and picturesque town square. One negative is I really dont like the handheld shower in upper rooms, see picture...

Room Tip: ask for a room that has a wall fixed shower, I think these tend to be all the ones on the lower floo...

It's in a convenient across the road from the Main Street into the old town square. The rooms are very clean and modern although the beds are bit hard.
WiFi worked quite ok.
Handheld shower is a bit of inconvenience the bathroom ends up a bit too wet.
Would stay there again.

Location is in old town - good for walking to some of the local (down town) restaurants or to get back from the "night club downtown". The complex is done partly inside old walls. but i think everything is new. Rooms are large and modern. The Gustavbeg bath is ok but the shower system with it's shealding easily makes wet spots to the bathroom floor (?). Also the wifi info was misguiding - with computer it was solved but the qulity of the service was bad.

Ask the reseption for towel and Spa. It seems that you may also make a reservation for private group for Spa. Brekfast was ok.

Room Tip: Have dinner outdoors e.g., in Prima'torka Pod Trrasami (47 Československé armády)

The hotel is new renovated and it is modern. The rooms were very large and clean. The cleanness is excellent. The hotel is 5 minute of walking to the centre of the city.
Hotel staff were helpful and the breakfast was sufficient. We stayed one nigt for a business stay. The hotel have all the backgroun for 120 people meeting with all the technical stuff we needed. Each of us came with car and the indoor parking was enough. I would recomend this hotel for a business or a few days vacation stay for everyone, who seeks for central but quiet positioned hotel in Hradec Kralove.

Good hotel, very quiet with private sauna in the room. Clean, spacious rooms. breakfast was just OK, though, nothing special. Would definitely stay again, especially in Hradec which has no other good hotels as far as I know.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2012

We made a reservation to spend our wedding anniversary dinner at the hotels restaurant and made a booking many weeks out - as we were in Hradec Kralove for that weekend whilst visiting family.

Our reservation was confirmed and yet when we arrived the hotel had put signs up saying the restaurant was closed. When we asked the receptionist, she told us that the bar will be open and we'd be able to order food from there - and she didn't apologise. We went upstairs and the bar maid also didn't apologise and instead throughout our time having dinner had a generally bad attitude against us. Sure we were disappointed, but we decided that some dinner was better than no dinner. I suspect her problem was that we decided to stay, rather than go, and as it was a quiet Sunday evening, it would have been better for us to have left her (there was one other couple who left 15mins after we arrived). It seemed that our presence was too much of an effort for her.

We waited over 30m for our main course (we didn't have a starter). The steaks were not too bad, although mine was overcooked, my wife was very happy with hers. However it was a little strange to have Hollandaise sauce on the menu and not Bearnaise.

The dessert selection was ok, and we both had hot blackberries and cream. It was a massive serving and tasted very good. It was such a pity that despite the good quality food, the service from the waitress was simply unacceptable for a hotel that proclaims itself as a 4 star hotel. She was disinterested and rude.

At least the chef was good! I advise that if you are booking to make triple sure that the restaurant is going to be open and then recheck. We were told it would be open and did not get any explanation or apology.

We have recently came back from our visit at the Hotel Tereziansky Dvur in Hradec Kralove and I could recommend this hotel to anybody who wants a piece of quietness in the centre of town. Lovely location, large airy and extra modern rooms, a great location to explore the city. The only few negatives I can point out are - no kettle with complimentary tea/coffee/water on the room as a 4* hotel should have this as a standard, only a hand-held shower in the bathroom, no room service menu in the welcome pack folder and an average to poor 3* breakfast with a rather uninterested waitress. The 4* quality of this hotel is its receptionist - really nice and helpful.
