“A very welcome respite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

We arrived in this tourist Mecca for all nations from China to wherever on a Friday afternoon and could not get a reservation in our first choice But this turned out to be just fine. A bottle of Bohemia Sekt , sparkling water plus duck and pork dinners (with the customary dumplings and cabbage, of course) all served at the correct temperature-- for $40.00 US We'll take it.
Cesky Krumlov itself has been all tarted up -- probably not a genuine business for actual residents within miles.

“Basic Czech Food, Well Prepared, Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

This pleasant restaurant in a hotel offering similar good values offers the local food, essentially a meat and potatoes cuisine prepared nicely with big portions served by a hustling wait staff in a nice ambience at fair prices. The duck breast served in a cranberry sauce is outstanding while the more traditional roasted duck is rather ordinary. The rabbit in cream bacon sauce is also unremarkable though the portion is generous.Well worth a visit.

“Great Evening”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013 via mobile

We ate here on May 24, 2013 during our stay in Cesky Krumlov. We had tried to eat here at lunch time but the restaurant was packed, so we went back for supper and were lucky enough to get a table. There were two guitarists playing, who were fantastic. The music wasn't so loud as to be intrusive, but made for a great evening. The service was slow because it was very busy but we didn't mind as we had great music and met some interesting people from England. We both had chicken schnitzel and potatoe salad which was very good and my husband had potatoe soup and we each had two great glasses of Czech beer. The whole evening cost 600 CZ, which is around $30.00

“Chewy Duck”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 24, 2013

First night I had duck which was not entirely malleable with a good chew. Portions are adequate and the staff extremely attentive when I had a brief nose bleed.
Overall - pricey compared to others in the village
