“Mingle with the locals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

Fried whole fish, chicken legs grilled over a wood fire, succulent pork chops, mac and cheese, cole slaw, potaoe salad. Conch salad prepared fresh on the beach. Local people. Music . A bar (beware the rum bubba). What more could we ask for (no rain?)We love the fact that the fish fry supports improvements in the community and care for the elderly on Eleuthera. Check it out.

“Fun time at Fish Fry!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2014

We really enjoyed the grilled chicken and fish, plus the rice/beans and coleslaw. We went a little early to get a table before the crowd. They serve a drink called a Rum Bubba that I think was probably the strongest drink I've ever encountered in my life! Don't let the plastic cup or the cheap price fool you! There was also a guy making a fresh conch salad. In addition, a DJ was playing music which my kids found amusing. You can't beat the prices for fresh fish and chicken on the grill. I got some great photos as the sun was setting. Definitely worth a stop on a Friday night. The drink is gone, but the memory lingers on..........

“Good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

This was actually some of the best food we ate on the island. It's not fancy, but it's fresh and definitely not commercial. Be prepared for a bit of a wait as they fill your order--the food is coming right off the grills. We tried all three meats: pork chop, chicken, and the whole fish. All were good. The macaroni is especially tasty.

“Friday Night Tradition!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

Weather permitting (which it usually is), the Fish Fry is THE thing to do on a Friday night in Governor's Harbour. There's a hut where they sell fried fish, pork and bbq chicken along with yummy homemade sides like mac & cheese, cole slaw and such. They sometimes have a DJ, which makes it for a fun evening (along with the full bar). There is also a guy that makes fresh conch salad that is to die for. So much fun and so yummy! Not bad prices either. If it's your first time, make sure you try their famous Rum Bubbas. I stick to Kaliks and Sands, though... When I went this year, it got rained out - but they still managed to serve us up some killer BBQ to run back to our place in the rain. Still a fun time!

“Local flavors at its best!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2014 via mobile

My new husband and I went here on our honeymoon on the last Friday and had an awesome time hanging with some locals we had met that week and eating amazing conch salad that I can't wait to have again! Go early to experience all the sights and sounds! Worth the trip every time!
