Went on a Saturday night as had read good things on here and was looking for a good curry. We hadn't checked out the location so were a bit confused until I remembered reading a review about it being at the station!
It does feel pretty random walking up and through the little door, and on arrival it feels a little bit like being in someone's living room, but it really adds to the ambiance of the place.
I'd already got the impression on the phone that the manager was very personable, but the service is about as personal as it could get. When taking our orders and drinks Manjinder referred to us by our names and talked us through the menu in detail which was a really nice touch.
Getting advice on dishes to try and accompaniments was also great as the point of going was to try a 'proper' indian dining experience, so we were happy to be guided, and the choices were exceptional.
Starters and mains were all really tasty with no grease in sight like you normally get with a curry, and the rice and recommended rosemary and olive oil naan were unbelievable.
Would definitely recommend a trip for anyone looking for a different type of curry experience which feels much more relaxed and authentic than the usual, and a lot tastier too!
Thinking of getting the train next time so we can all have a drink, and then head straight out in Leeds afterwards, perfect!
