“What a breakfast!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2012

I spent two nights there and have never had such a huge Full Breakfast.
Parking is good. There is a good place for children to play. Dogs were welcome (on leads) They provided a water bowl too.
The area for any one who is now in the minority and chooses to smoke, is quite luxurious as it has an old leather suite. It is roofed in and has a flat screen TV on the wall.
I do have to say that the pub is sandwiched between two busy roads so expect some traffic noise if you are a light sleeper. I was not bothered by this at all.
I found all the staff friendly and was made to feel welcome.
It is also very convenient for those coming off the A30.
I would stay there again. Good choice of beers and the draught Guiness was very well kept.

I went to this pub with my father last Sunday for a Roast, We ordered a small at £5.75 and was very suprised at the size plate we were given, I questioned that they were not large ones, as the portion size was very good. It did take about 20 minutes to arrive but that was because all the side vegetables were cooked fresh. I would recommend this roast to anyone, good variety of vegetables and home made gravy... Was so full could not eat a pudding, but they looked lush too.

Prior to lunch at Treleigh we called in for lunch here.
Nice lay out with easy parking and good out door area's for both smokers and eating.
Interior was pleasant and clean.
Bar girl gave us a great smile.
Good range of Beer on offer.
The lunch menu had little to offer and as it was printed with the main menu we saw several dish's that appealed. I asked If it was possible to select meals from that, she thought so but had to go ask the chef.
As we were the only potential diners {one chap at the bar} were surprised that when she returned it seems the chef was not prepared to offer anything other.................So we left.
Shame that in such dire times they lost a £30 plus lunch couple for lack of flexibility.
