After hearing a lot of hype about this place, I stopped by this location for a bite to eat on the way to a Senators playoff game back in the spring and to be honest, I'm not sure what the big deal is. The portion size of the fries is pretty generous, there is a wide variety of possible condiments and toppings for the burger (and they don't scrimp on them when you ask for them), but the burger itself was quite unremarkable. It was a good size, but it's fried like so many fast food places do and I didn't find any special spicing or flavouring in the meat. After hearing so many "Oh, what a great burger!" comments from friends and acquaintances I was expecting something that was more than just good version of a fried fast-food burger.
There's nothing wrong with it, but given the prices charged, I expected something that would impress my taste buds and I didn't find it here.
