“When in Rome...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

We stayed at the Vibe Hotel last weekend and wanted to walk to somewhere local for breakfast. We stumbled upon Indulgent Sage on our wanderings and decided to venture in. It was bustling at 11am on a Sunday morning. The coffee was good - but a little hot (we Melbournites are used to it being served warm rather than hot). The service was a bit hit and miss to be honest. The menu was an interesting mix of standard breakky fare and a few things with an Indian/Malaysian touch. We opted for a mix of both but should have noted the nationality of the chef and stuck with the Indian/Malaysian items - the Roti breakfast sandwich was GREAT - but the pesto eggs were not very nice at all. I would definitely go back - but would order more carefully next time.

“Good breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2014

This is not a quick meal, but a very good one. It is a regular breakfast stop for business trips to Sydney for me. Decent tea or coffee, and some very good food. The staff is not very fast, but you are taken care of.

“arrogant and unpleasant barrista”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

popped in yesterday for a couple of campo coffee takeaways, the woman making the coffee had the personality of an angry rottweiler, she charged $4 per small cup for the coffee and then tried to keep the change from a ten dollar note as a tip. The filthy rag she was using to wipe up the coffee machine and work surface was a bit off putting as well...

“Great bright cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2014

Had breakfast with my husband on a gorgeous summers day. The best omelette I have ever eaten. Great juices and coffee. Will come back and try lunch menu which sounds divine.

“A waste of money”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2014 via mobile

Went for a big breakfast...two of us. I was half way through my coffee before my partner's coffee came. Bacon obviously cooked on a flat sandwich toaster instead of grilled, grilled tomato, eggs, bacon all barely warm. Toast was not toasted, it was warm bread. Business appears to have changed hands, we left most of our food on the plate.
