“The fortress”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2014

Being the only mosque besides the one in Casablanca, where non muslims can enter, this excursion was well worth it. In appearance more like a fortress, the once ruined interiors have been renovated and if you have the time its worth the effort

“Worth a visit if you're near Imlil”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2014

It's over an hour winding driving to get to Tin Mal from Imil. The scenery on the way is kind of interesting and there were a couple of abandoned kasbahs before you get to Tin Mal. The mosque is interesting but will not take take you more than 20 minutes to see. I'll say give it shot if you are in the neigborhood on a nice day.

“Doesn't Live up to Hype”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 6, 2013

It's not a big detour, just a few minutes off the Tizi N'Test road, but really not much to see. Most of the site has been heavily restored, leaving only one aisle with the original stucco work for which the mosque is famous. The caretaker is not far away and you'll get in quickly, but don't allow more than 20 minutes or so for the visit.
