I was booked into this hotel by a third party and the room HAD NO WINDOWS! Not only did this feel like being in a dungeon or a prison, but the room was small and cramped. Having checked in late at night and not having the time to argue the point. I immediately checked out the first thing in the morning and made a reservation to the La Concha Renaissance Hotel. Did not partake in the free breakfast and saw no other part of the hotel other than the front desk and the first floor room.
Apparently this was booked for a two-night stay, I tried to cancel the second night, but the hotel suggested I call the agent and the agent suggested I contact the hotel. The hotel was not only lacking in customer service, they did not see this as unusual. Apparently after a less than eight hour stay in this poor definition of a hotel, they still refused to refund the second night, when in all fairness, the entire stay should have been refunded.
Would hate to be in this room if some sort of emergency happened and I don't know how as hotelier, how Howard Johnson can rent out rooms such as this!
Room Tip: Do not stay in this hotel!
