Stayed for 4 nights in Jan. Definitely less of a posh experience than might be expected from Ritz name, more like a solid higher end chain. Drawbacks are the priciness, some spotty service in the casual restaurants, some unattractive buildings lining the beach and smallish rooms. However, service is otherwise very friendly, beach itself is very pretty: fairly wide and long with good waves, but very windy. There was seaweed one day, but not the others. Pool is pretty, but no bells and whistles. Spa was small but well-kept and services were good. We had a room directly looking out onto the airport (5 mins away) and couldn't hear a thing (our child loved watching planes taking off and landing). Good inexpensive breakfast place right next door that makes pancakes and eggs to order and has pastries. We would consider returning given how easy a trip it is.
