Wonderful Hostess. Tasty ample full Irish Breakfast. Beautiful Setting. Warm in every way. Margaret is dedicated to your comfort and well being whilst in her lovely home which carries a little of Ireland's history in its structure. Ask her about it! After a long day out you return to a comfortable room, make yourself tea or coffee. and retire to sleep in a very comfortable bed. Highly recommended - Enjoy.

Room Tip: All rooms are 'A room with a view'. As The Lodge lies well back from the road (with ample p...

This was an extremely nice B&B. The location was perfect - back from any extremely busy main road. Easy drive to Wexford and any other attraction. We used this location as a starting point for visiting Waterford Crystal Factory and The Dunbrody Ship in New Ross. Margaret and her son were extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations were clean, pleasant and comfortable. My wife and I recommend this B&B to everyone who is looking for a quiet get a way.

i titled my review beyond the call because the service i received at ferrycarrig lodge was beyond the call of normal service i would expect from a bandb. on my way to limerick i decided to stay overnight in wexford having arrived in rosslare on the ferry. i arrived at ferrycarrig lodge with no notice or booking. i telephoned margaret the owner who told me she had gone to rosslare for a meal. she suggestd that i walk across to the hotel, have something to eat and she would return at 9 oc and check me in. she arrived at the hotel at 9, brought me to her bandb, checked me in, offered me tea or coffee and told me she was returning to kellys hotel in rosslare for a nights dancing.after a good nights sleep i had a lovely breakfast at 7.30 and was on my way.margaret is totally dedicated to her business. this is my first review and i would highly recommend this lovely lodge if you visit wexford.

Stayed here on the way to Cork. Nice clean place and the staff were really helpful as was Margaret. My only complaint is there is no tea/coffee facilities in the room and it would be nice to have a cup when returning from sightseeing. Also the breakfast was pretty sparse - only 3 items.....compared to other places we stayed in Ireland.

Stayed here the night before a wedding and our stay couldn't have been better! Nothin was too much trouble for Margaret, she gave over a living room for us to get ready in!
Would definitely recommend Ferrycarrig Lodge to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area!

Myself and my wife stayed with Margaret for a weekend, early in the year and i must say she was soooooooo good to us.She was a lovely warm person who couldnt have done enough for us.The breakfast was superb and being a chef myself i thought it was first class.I had a big full Irish breakfast that was out of this world. The room was spotless and comfortable and quite. When we returned late in the evening the heating was still on for us.No half measures from Margret that's for sure.Margaret also gave us free passes to the nearby Heratage Centre. What can we say but we had a great experience in Ferrycarrig Lodge.
