“Great hotel in excellent location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014

Stayed for 2 nights. Spotlessly clean. Great shower & plenty of space for toiletries! Wi-fi great. Breakfast was a beautiful surprise - Enjoy! Great location just minutes from the "new" bridge. Sat Nav managed to find it. We parked our car in the new part of town (not in the hotel recommended car park) but sadly got our aerial stolen :-( Hotel provided access to a PC & printer if required and had lots of info on area & further afield. A great base for exploring Ronda & the surrounding area.
We ate at a restaurant recommended by the hotel which was excellent. A great bottle of local wine but be warned the chicken caesar salad starter was more than large enough for a main course.

We stayed one night in Ronda and were delighted by Hotel Ronda. Charming and authentic old Spanish feeling place with modern touches. The woman at the desk was great. She gave us a map and showed us all the sights. Excellent breakfast brought into our room. Good water pressure. Good bed for a great night of sleep.Electric kettle in the room. Fabulous view from our room. Really special. Romantic.

Room Tip: Try to get room 1 so you can have two windows

Two restful nights here in the peaceful ancient city, we could explore it fully at our ease after delicious breakfasts in bed. This tiny hotel is expertly run by its helpful owners. We really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Hotel Ronda for our honeymoon. It's a great little place. It's clean, has all the modern amenities allbeit a little small. The owner runs the front desk and is extremely helpful; she asked what time we wanted breakfast and at 9am she knocked and rolled in a fitting breakfast. The other review about a small cart in the bathroom is spot on. I definitely want to stay there again. The only downside is the location is through narrow streets and parking is at a remote lot about 5 minutes walking. But if you are just walking around down and taking in the gorgeous view of the bridge and gorge then it is perfect. Park the car and comeback to it when you leave for Malaga, Seville, or Cordoba, in the mean while enjoying the sites of Ronda. Also on a side note, if you are coming up from Malagas specifically Gibraltar the road over is winding and mountainous, it is far easier to get to Ronda from Seville.

spent two nights at this 5 room gem..impeccably maintained and great location. The owner/front desk person especially warm, friendly and helpful. Great location for sight seeing and lots of restaurants choices nearby. Can't see any hotel doing it better in Ronda. Go and enjoy, you'll be very happy!!

Room Tip: you have a 20% chance of getting any room..can't go wrong with these odds

Hotel Ronda is a really cute, tiny hotel (five rooms), and a very convenient place to spend a night or two in Ronda. It's a block from the bridge, and there must be fifty restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are absolutely spotless, slightly small (at least the double room we stayed in, though the one my parents stayed in was larger) but very comfortable - large closet, a small desk, a spacious bed, and ample heating (at least in the bedroom - in November, though, the bathrooms were quite cold!). The very friendly woman who runs the hotel provides coffee/tea, fruit, and biscuits in the morning which makes the start of the day pleasant. And the front area is stocked with books about Andalucia, and a computer that you can use (the rooms also have reliable, fast wifi which is unusual for Spain). That said, there isn't really a lobby per se - just a tiny area when you walk in the hotel's front door - so when you come back to the hotel for the evening, you will be heading to your room.

Note: the owner does a lovely job directing you if you are arriving by car- you can stop in front of the hotel for 15 minutes to unload your car. You will then be sent to a garage about a 5-10 minute walk away from the hotel (the hotel offers that parking for 10 Euros). Do note, this garage is a bit small so don't rent an SUV or something like that.
Note 2: The hotel is on a slope which might make accessing the hotel by foot challenging for some. (Don't wear stilettos).

We picked this because of its Tripadvisor reviews and it lived up to them. It is a small hotel but very welcoming, our room was comfortable and the location is good for walking in and out of town.

Be aware the hotel is situated a few hundred yards down a steep slope so would not suit everyone. You can park outside to drop your bags but then you must find somewhere to park, there are public car parks in the centre of town.
