“lived up to all the trip advisor reviews”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2012

Ronda is a beautiful little town and this little hotel was the icing on the cake. The room was spotless and the owner could not have been more friendly and helpful. The hotel is very central. As it was our wedding anniversary we and our friends took some wine up to the rooftop and enjoyed a glass or two as the sun set - idyllic! We just loved it.

Your experience starts when you book your room by email. My sister and I spent 1 night at Hotel Ronda and highly recommend it. It is the family home of Sra Nieves Lara who most cheerfully helped us back our car out and gave excellent directions to the parking lot. If you follow your gps you should find it easily, although the narrow streets can be a bit scary. Upon our return from parking our host made coffee and lemonade. The room was clean and we kept the window open--it overlooked greenery. There's also a small rooftop sitting area with a great view. The location was perfect--just across the bridge on the older side of Ronda.

This is a wonderful place, right in the old bit of town - run by a lovely woman, who couldn't be more helpful. It's close to lots of gorgeous restaurants & cafes, as well as museums, galleries and the gorge (all within 5 mins walk). The hotel itself is spotless, and lovely and shady in the heat. Our room looked had a lovely outlook; over the street & the casa del rey Moro.

Can't recommend this place enough...it was a perfect base to explore from, and relax in! We would definitely return here next time we visit

I'd like to personally thank the 2 ladies that run this hotel for making our stay in Ronda such an amazing experience, they could not have been more helpful. We would never had made it to our next destination without them. I also seemed to leave my sun glasses everywhere in the hotel but they were always there when i returned and the ladies were on hand to have a good laugh about it!
The location itself is perfect, right next to main bridge crossing the gorge. It's such a charming little hotel. The rooms are large, clean, fully air conditioned and you feel like you're staying in a typical Andalucian house. I can't speak highly enough for this hotel and the 2 ladies that run it, thank you very much.

What a gem this little hotel is, I stayed here in March for one night and can't recommend it highly enough. The owner is a little Spanish lady whose English accent is so cute, and she really made the welcome special. The room was quite large with a double bed, and loads of flower pots in the window. The tv was quite small, but I only watched it for a little bit before going to sleep after a day hiking around the city. This is a small hotel, only a few rooms so there is no restaurant, but I found a nice little tapas bar on the other side of the bridge called Lechugita that was wonderful, and completely Spanish!

Room Tip: Slept in the front room closest to the road, and I did here the front door opening a couple of times...
