“Odd little museum”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

This was considered a "must see" in our guidebook, but we found it disappointing. It's in a neat old building, but the few exhibits about the local area seemed tired and were not all that interesting.

“Palace, Garden, view and museum, all not to be missed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

After the bridge, the second attraction we visited. I Always like to get acquinted with the history of a town, to fully understand the 'now'. Okay, it's not the most modern way to display, but still... I think it's briljant how they made use of the available space and mate attempts to make the public understand... the models, are great, I loved getting the opportunity to 'wander the cave' or pass through one of the old huts, whiche were excaveted in the Ronda- area. The areal photo's were beautiful and the signs and plaques qith information were there in abbundance, and in English as well... so thumbs up for the archaeological information supplied in the museum.

The building itself has played a big part in Ronda history and the opportunity to actually go inside such a building is a plus in my book! The gardens, not too big, but wath tranquility they offer... and the views...you can imagine yourself sitting there in Arab times... I'd say: go and visit!

“Full of history with little changes made, lovely gardens”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

This little gem may be small but gives you an idea of what it was like to live in the city when it was built. Full of history and unique building design you feel like you are visting a friends house rather than a museum. The gardens outside are small but perfectly formed and offer spectacular views of the valley.
