“A little gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2010

This is a real winner. Set in a quiet part of town but within easy walking distance for town center. Excellent rooms decorated in a lively bright style. Lovely breakfasts at a cosy common table with the other guests. And a hostess with perfect Spanish, English, and various other languages-- charming and very helpful. Free internet access. Facilities ensuite.

What an amazing place. Anahid has a gift. She is the most amazing person and a truly wonderful hostess. An incredible story behind how Ronda found her, and her arrival in Spain. If you love food, and want to eat like a local, you won't find a better person to give you recommendations. Anadhid will tell you not just where to eat but what to order for a truely special meal. The michelin star Tragabuches has just opened a Tapas bar and it was amazing!

Baraka itself. A cosy and well kept B&B with a lovely terrace. Painted every year, the effort Anahid puts into it's upkeep is second to none. Warm and welcoming.

We wanted to find some art galleries and Anahid put us in touch with a friend of hers. We had a wonderful experience with Christine and Brian and came home with a few lovely pieces to add to our collection. Truely special.

Thanks Anahid.

I stayed in Ronda for two nights with my husband. We are used to travelling a lot and have been all over the world. This place was an amazingly unique location. Just minutes from the center, one feels like in the middle of the country side. The place is so quiet! We had one of the rooms upstairs which also had an ensuite bathroom. Everything is clean and new. The hostess, Anahid, is a vivacious woman who has built the place up from scratch. She found this place at random some six years ago. It was dipalidated and run down. She renovated it and has turned it into a small corner of "one thousand and one nights" with painted walls, hanging plants and lots of small personal touches. Breakfast is taken in the courtyard if the weather is nice (indoors if not) and you can either choose to chat with Anahid or just have a quiet breakfast with a wide variety of interesting world music. She also gives you lots tips for places to eat and things to do in Ronda and in the nearby areas. You wont be disappointed! Try to stay more than one night to get the full experience...both of the BnB and of Ronda.

Lovely stay at this small B&B, perfectly located in Ronda old town.

Beds very comfortable. Good bathroom with plenty of hot water. Property very clean and nicely decorated.

Excellent value for money.

Would go back again. Recommended without hesitation.

Wonderful place located conveniently by the historic bridge (walking distance). Anahid is a great hostess and if your Spanish isn't good, Anahid once lived in San Francisco so no problem for us English speaking tourist. She helped guide us to the hotel in the middle of the night and gave us her cell phone. She really went out of her way. To add, she got us reservations to a great restaurant that night. The rooms are quiet and clean with a great feel of the Moorish and Spanish influence. The courtyard is relaxing and beautiful. Thank you for making Ronda a great experience.
