For a relatively high price in the area (96 euros / night including free drinks & breakfast), we would have expected much better.
There are many +: The pool is extremely pleasant and charming, hotel is near city center.
Furniture however is "pretentious": they sort of present themselves as architects and "design artists" but everything feels shabby. They left a plastic bed cover under the sheets so we woke up sweating in the middle of the night...
All in all an OK place, but we expect much better for the price.

Arrived in Ronda in the early evening when the sting had gone from the sun. We drove down narrow cobbled streets and passed local children playing in a fountain near the hotel and I knew right then that I was going to love Ronda.

We drove along the A7 and the AP7 (inexpensive toll road) from Malaga airport and took the exit 172 to Ronda. When we arrived on the outskirts of Ronda we took Ronda Sud at the traffic island. Once over the Puerta Nuevo bridge we took the first right and then followed the directions provided by the hotel.

The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. You could spend a week there and still see something that you hadn't noticed before. Immediately through the front door was the reception and to the right was the self service bar and bar area. Through the bar was the breakfast room.

The bar was well stocked 24hrs with fruit juices, water, soft drinks, beer, wines, teas, coffees, hot chocolate and sherries. The breakfasts were very good and they served from 8.30am until 12noon. They consisted of breads, pastries, fruit, preserves, cold meats and cheese, yoghurts, cereal and cakes. You could also ask for eggs cooked in various ways and bacon.

Through the breakfast room was a small courtyard with tables and chairs. There was a large fish tank with stepping stones built inside, so that you could walk across them to either another small area with a table and chairs or go into the gamesroom. It was really weird and really imaginative. This courtyard had a tropical feel to it with lots of plants and trees. At night it was all illuminated and looked fab.

The gamesroom had free internet access, a pool table and a massive library.

The gardens were really lovely and meandered into one another with lots of higgledy-piggledy pathways. There was a lovely Koi pond and an aviary. The pool area was small but you must appreciate you are in a town. We stayed in the height of season and it wasnt too crowded. The busiest time was around 5pm after sight-seeing had finished. The sun terrace at the back had breathtaking views over the countryside and was a lovely place to take a bottle of wine in the evening. There was also a small sunbed terrace with countryside views.

Our room was called 'The Suite' was was split level. The bed partitioned off from the main room by a lovely screen. There was a real log burning stove and sitting area with leather seats. Upstairs was a spacious bathroom with cupboards and a rail for storage. There was a hand-held shower and a full size bath.
The room was illuminated by serveral lanterns and so were never well lit, but it was atmospheric. The bathroom was the brightest room.

The man on reception recommended several tapas bars, Bodega Del Socorro, Bodega San Francisco and La Leyenda. The first two were very authentic. The third was a little more rounded at the edges. They didnt speak a great deal of English infact none in Bodega Del Socorro, but it didnt stop me ordering a really nice selection of Tapas.

I will definitely go back to this hotel and book the same room. I couldnt recommend this hotel too highly.

First review in TripAdvisor and it must be this great Hotel. I have traveled extensively in all sorts of hotels and the Enfrente Arte has the best breakfast ever!

The hotel is unique and our room was very comfortable, clean and very cleverly decorated. The views from the terraces out the back are fabulous and give you a chance to meet other guests in a mellow mood.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. We asked for a place for tapas and the guy gave us his real opinion - "these are really nice but this is the one I go to when I have tapas" and guess what - his recommendation was right on the spot.

Keep up the good work

Although we stayed in this hotel a couple of years ago I never got round to actually writing a review for it until I started to think about holidays this year and though 'ahhh why don't we go to that fantastic hotel in Ronda?'.
This place is totally unique, laid back and a pleasure to stay in. Each room is totally fantastically decorated, bright and cheerful and also individual - hotels these days so tend to make their rooms identikit so its refreshing to have somewhere that makes you go 'wooow' when you step into different rooms. We stayed in the tower and it was really romantic, the prefect place for honeymooners to relax. The views are amazing.
The hotel can be full, yet you are still easily able to find a wee nock and cranny to yourself for some peace and relaxation. The avery is fantastic and a lovely place to have your breakfast. The honesty bar is also a nice touch and has some of the finest sherries around for you to try.
If you are looking for somewhere that is out of this world spend a couple of nights at this hotel. I would recommend it to everyone.

“The Best Boutique Hotel Ever!”

Hotel Enfrente Arte

I dont think a review can capture the essence of this hotel. Calling it a hotel also doesnt do it justice. Nestled on a slope with stunning views of the countryside, the unique decor is not the only thing that makes this place such an awesome retreat. The breakfast was delicious. It has an allday free self serve bar - replete with any and all kinds of beverages. The rooms are cosy and care has been taken to make each room uniquely different. A Koi aquariam/pond nestles its way on the floor amidst steps to the recreation room. A dilapidated scooter holds flower pots. There are knicknacks, free internet and charming housepets. GUY, very helpfully organised a mouth watering cake for my husband's birthday and the entire cross section of visitors staying in the hotel came together for an impromptu party at the bar. Please stay there for the experience. Its quite unlike anything we've ever experienced.
