“Quirky in a Good way”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014 via mobile

Enjoyed our 2 night stay very much - and wish we had an excuse to stay longer in Ronda! Breakfast was by far the best to be had in Spain. All staff really friendly and the place has some great spots, terraces and interest points - it's all been said before So I can only confirm previous reviews - stay here you won't be disappointed!

I don't know why anyone would consider staying anywhere else in Ronda. This hotel is an experience. Period. Go to their website: pool, sauna, free, open bar, very unique and quirky decor, good location on quiet street, excellent breakfasts (best breakfast in four weeks of travel, by far) and a great price. Easy to walk into town, excellent driving directions to get here, free easy and safe street parking. Three plugs to charge gadgets, very clean and unique room, bathroom and room good sized, strong shower, good storage. They did our laundry as well. The staff is super helpful. We have been traveling every summer for six years, and they are the ONLY place that did something for me on my birthday. I can't thank them enough. Great view terraces, excellent little hide-away and public spaces, good tapas bars right around the corner and up the street. Really, why stay anywhere else? You will miss out on a very unique treat!

Room Tip: All the rooms we saw are unique and each one was very cool in a different way. I saw no loser rooms.

All the reviews were right -- this is a one-of-a-kind place that made our stay in Ronda a delight. From the funky decor, to the free fish-pedicure pond, to the intimate patios, aviary, and small swimming pool, it provided a great place to relax. Self-serve free beverages available all day (ice tea, wine, beer, juice) were a nice bonus. What really stood out for us was breakfast, with newcomer chefs Pablo and Sandra whipping up a gourmet feast each day -- fried quail eggs and sausage, 5 kinds of tea breads, trays of meat, cheese and fruit, smoothies, cold eggplant/tomato terrines and other veggie treats, yogurt, etc. Wow. Free parking on the quiet street was great, though driving in Ronda and its one-way, narrow streets was an adventure - get specific directions before you arrive if possible. I want to return!

Room Tip: The neighborhood is quiet, so even our room that faced the street was fine for sleeping.

We simply loved our stay at this little harbour of peace, decorated with an abundance of creativity in the heart of Ronda. Friendly and very helpful staff. Original, different, welcoming, feel-good, rock 'n roll, funky, ... all those adjectives apply to this little gem.

Room Tip: Each room has its own personality. I'm sure you'll find one that will please you.

An absolute blast of a place that lives up to it's billing! Great breakfast and included all day beverages in an eclectic atmosphere of a 70's artist commune. Make sure to check out the hidden patio out back for great views of the countryside. The "front desk" (actually a car) staff are excellent at providing suggestions and recommendations. Wear comfortable shoes while in Ronda, you will be walking!

Room Tip: Opt for the deluxe rooms as they have balconies.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Enfrente Arte for 3 nights, all I can say is it was a fabulous experience. We loved the hotel soo much, so many places to go to relax and meet people from all over. The scenery was beautiful. It was a definite highlight of our vacation of Spain and Portugal. We also happened to be there when they were having a concert at a local vineyard "Soldier' Heart" & "Warhaus" we had a wonderful time, great music, scenery and food. As an added treat they stayed at the hotel and played the next day for the guest in the TV room. Our stay was was more than a stay at just any hotel it was a fabulous experience. We loved Hotel Enfrente Arte and Ronda. Thank You!!!

Two groups of friends on seperate occaisions had stayed here over the last five years and said we must stay at Hotel Enfrente Art - we did and we are pleased we did. Highlights were, location, easy parking on the street outside, staff who were all very helpful with on bookings -phoning ahead and sorting details in spanish etc, great breakfast, 'interesting' rooms and last but not least - a free bar.! Real test - would I happily go back to stay again - Yes in a heart beat.
