We live locally and are delighted to have this tapas bar on our doorstep. Whereas many Spanish tapas are simply a selection of deep-fried nibbles and bread-based snacks, with few vegetables, this bar has a fantastic selection of fresh-tasting food made with excellent and varied ingredients. Sharing plates are fabulous (superb quality roasted pork loin, beautifully garnished and accompanied by a little tasty apple sauce!) and the tapas are original and great value - delicious local cheese, chorizo, seafood. Everything is beautifully presented. The bar serves many of the local Ronda wines by the glass, so it is a great way to try out different wines without having to commit to a full bottle - and the homemade Tinto de Verano (like sangria, only better) is refreshing and delicious. This is a real local gem, with no English on the menus or spoken, but the excellent, friendly service and consistent quality of food mean that you can always be assured your food will be good, even if you aren't quite sure what you have ordered!
