This one is the best.We checked it out for 1 night and we stayed for 3.It is situated half an hour from Ronda,and it is a world apart.The farm is in a valley sorrounded by mountains.It is a most wonderful place to base yourself for the area and take hikes and walks,which are endless.The chef was on vacation,but nevertheless the staff did their best to put up a meal to satisfy those guests ,who did not want to venture out.It is the kind of place were you can do a lot or nothing.There is a blazing fire in the evening(November-right?) and the whole place exudes relaxation.The rooms are basic but nice with all the amenities.Bathrooms are clean and there are even small patios for every room.Highly recommended.

We stayed at El Horcajo in late september for a week. It was in a beautiful and very peaceful location and was a welcoming and charming place to stay. The staff couldn't be more helpful and the evening meals were excellent. Even though it was 35 degrees the rooms in the hotel remained cool, despite lack of air conditioning. The pool was well-kept and it was a unique experience to swim to the sounds of chickens and pigs (no horses though!) We would happily return.
