“Lovely Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

This is a very comfortable apartment, nicely decorated with comfortable beds and modern kitchen but the best bit for us was the large roof terrace with jacuzzi. Great for sitting in after dinner watching the sun set over the hills and the bats flitting around. Another great plus is its proximity to Locos Tapas (two minutes down the hill) where we had two fantastic meals (see reviews on tripadvisor).

“Pros and Cons”

Pros: Basically clean, plenty of room, fairly close to town, close to restaurants, washer/dryer in the unit, kitchen well equipped.

Cons: This is an older property that has been renovated but it has no central air or heat. Space heaters and fans are available. There was not an abundance of hot water for showers. I swear I was visited by ghosts one night. Had me freaked out.

“Ronda Retreat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

After a dark drive from Gibraltar, we arrived in Ronda to find a festival. There was so much colour and activity and we were astounded to find how close we were to the city walls. It was very atmospheric! The apartment was extremely convenient for the old town and there wre easily enough things to do for our week there. Ronda is stunning and the area around it is a green delight. Overall we had a lovely time and will stay here again, probably combining a stay with one on the coast, now we've done most of the things we wanted to do. If you enjoy a city/ town break this is highly recommended!

“Great Location!”

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Ronda. What a gourgous city by the way! Very spacious apartment that was perfect for 3 adults and 1 child. Great deck and everything in the kitchen seemed very new. Much more modern than alot of setups we saw on the rest of our trip. Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom was very nice. The hot tub was not working, but other than that everything exceeded our expectations. Hope to come back some day; our visit was too short!

“superb location, excellent facilities, good price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2011 for a stay in November 2011

Ignore the map location on tripadvisor, this apartment is in the old town just inside the city walls and next to the church. There are bars at either end of the cobbled street, one with wifi. Ronda's number one restaurant the Almocabar is on the square just outside the apartment. You are at the heart of all the main tourist attrractions.

The apartment itself is nice and there are lots of little touches that make this a welcoming place. The games, DVDs, CDs, ipod dock, needle and thread, tourist book and maps all allow for a comfortable stay. There is a DVD player and flatscreen TV. The kitchen has it's dishwasher, cooker freezer etc. Pots and pans are all good quality and look new. We had 5 bikes and it was easy to leave them secure at the bottom of the stairs.

TV reception isn't the best across Ronda and we lost the signal during two days of rain ( it was November and rain is unusual) The water temperature in one of the showers was lower than we would have liked which the owner is looking into. Dealings with the owner was very pleasant and I felt they went out their way to ensure we had a good stay.

Seville and Malaga are both 90 minutes away.

We are looking to book again next year and I would recommend this apartment.

“This apartment had everything we needed in a great location.”

Our family loved the town of Ronda and this apartment was the right choice for us! 3 bedrooms and 2 baths were perfect! Loved the large terrace, altho. the hot tub wasn't working (since it was such warm weather this was hardly a problem!) Kitchen had everything we needed to cook and even wash clothes. Staying in a small town in Europe is always a must for us, to contrast the bigger, more crowded cities (we travelled from Barcelona) and we would highly recommend Ronda and this apartment!
